Daily Devo 532 • Night Light Evening Devotional
Opening Prayer:
Father, in the name of Jesus, thank you. Thank you, Lord God, that we are here inside of another evening together. Thank you that we made it through the day, God. I thank you for traveling mercy, for us going out and coming in safe. I thank you for covering our families, God, and our friends. Thank you, Lord God, that we are covered.
And tonight, I pray for the mighty woman of God to come into a place of deeper rest, complete release. No holding on to one thing or another, but complete release, that the mighty woman of God may know the peace that surpasses all understanding. I thank you, God, for this evening. I thank you that her body is now at rest.
I thank you, God, that as she prepares for this evening, that the grace and the glory of God will go forth before each and every person, that she would know her rest, that her body would be filled with your love, and that her rest would come upon her so easily, so swiftly. And so tonight, I thank you.
I thank you that we’re able to meet again for another evening devotional. I thank you, Lord, and I pray in Jesus’ mighty name.

Evening Message:
Sometimes, you can get so tired that people often wonder:
Why don’t you just quit? Why don’t you just give up? Why do you keep believing God? Why do you keep believing He’s going to do it? Why do you keep pushing yourself?
Many of us, when we are called to walk with God, we are called to walk with God differently. Our walk is not the same as someone else’s walk. The way that we move is different. The grace and glory of God comes forth in every season, but when we walk with God the way He calls us to walk, miracles, signs, and wonders follow. Trust follows. The doors are open and the Lord has His way.
The way that glory is released when we trust the Lord, when we lift up our hands and praise. And so, even in the midnight hour, when you’re exhausted, you’re tired, and you are often wondering:
Are they right? Are they right? Should you give up? Should you let go? Should you just go and be reasonable? Should you choose the easier thing? Why make it so hard?
Well, when you’re walking with God, it’s not always going to be easy.
It’s going to be worth it.
And when you’re trusting the Lord and leaning not to your own understanding, that may not make sense to anybody else. But to God be the glory, it will shift you and change you because faith is transformative. Walking with God and trusting Him, even in your most tired moments, changes you.
It grows you. And then when you come to the other side of those moments, your faith becomes more solid, more strengthened, more full of His glory and able to be shared with others through testimonials and victories. This is what the world needs.
The Bible says in Romans 8:18-19 that all of the world is waiting. The world is waiting for the manifestation of the sons of God. The world is waiting for the evidence that God is with us, that He does love us, and that we are covered.
And so tonight, as you rest, as you lay down every heavy burden, as you consider this thing, remember that even when you are tired, it’s still worth it. Even when your body feels like it’s just doing it for nothing, it’s still worth it to press in whatever field God has called you. Whether it’s family, finances, fitness, whatever area God has called you into. The grace and glory of God will go with you.
Through your tired moments and through those moments when you just want to give up and never, never do it again. God is right there with you to encourage you, to empower you, and when others begin to doubt and to wonder, let them see you as a light on the hill.
Let them see your light permeate out. Don’t let anyone dim your light. This is the season to trust God completely. This is the time to let go of every doubt and every fear and walk with God, for the new season is here.
I pray the Lord bless you, and I’ll see you in the next Evening Devotional.
