Evening Prayer (August 4, 2026)
Prayer for Peaceful Sleep
Praise God for traveling mercies. You’ve made it through the day and are now entering into your evening’s rest. I pray for ease and peace to come forth in the name of Jesus. May the weight of the day fall away as you rest in the presence of the Lord.
As you prepare to rest tonight, I pray that overthinking and the to-do lists have their place under your feet. I pray for the peace that surpasses understanding to cover you and your family, for the promises of God are yes and amen in Christ Jesus
Praise God for the love of God tearing down every stronghold and weapon that has been keeping you from peaceful sleep in Christ Jesus. May the Lord cover your family that the grace and glory of God be evident and undeniable. Praise God that you are being fortified by His Spirit. May the Lord bless you with sweet and complete sleep in the name of Jesus. Amen.
