Evening Prayer (July 28, 2026)
Prayer for Rest
Praise god for the end of the day. We have made it to another evening. As you begin to rest tonight, I pray that you would release every weight from this day and remain in the secret place with the Lord. May all of the weight of the day fall away.
Every chain, every weight, and every stronghold has to break. May the peace of God surround you as you lay down today’s burdens. I pray that the tension falls away and that the grace of God covers you as you sit with Him tonight. He is God alone, and you are not on your own.
May your sleep be covered and the afflictions be broken. He is the battle ax and our strong tower. I pray that your home and your family be blessed as you rest tonight. May the goodness of the Lord bless you in Spirit and in truth, in Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.
