Audio Version Of This Devotional: Now Is The Time Audio
Don't take the grace of God for granted. We are in a brand new day looking forward into a brand new morning. What God is doing right now: it is what is relevant. What may have happened in the past and what may be happening in the future; all of that is outside of our control.
In this moment and in this hour what we can put our hands to is all that matters. What we can touch right now is the grace that God has already released for us. To move with Him, to build with him, to sup with him, and to make room for him in our everyday lives is the grace of God. This is the grace that the writer to the Church of Corinthians is admonishing them not to take for granted.
Right now, God has given you everything that you need.
Right now, He is a very present help in a time of trouble.
So as we get up this morning, as we face our day this morning bearing in mind that He is a good good father, that he is the God that has created all things including us. He has made ways out of ways. Bearing that in mind, rising up with an intention, an empowerment, and a joy to be found is important. It's key to us operating fully in the power of God today. Unlocking more and more of our abilities as we press towards the mark of the prize of the high calling in Christ Jesus.
Our growth is predicated on that press. Our ability to walk fully with God is predicated on our press. You must know that God has you in the palm of his hands. You must know that nothing can separate you from his love. According to Romans 8 verse 39 and verse 38, nothing can separate you from the love of the Father.
38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. - Romans 8:38-39 KJV
Now's the time. No more “looking towards the future”. No more “hoping” things will change. In this moment, right now, with a spirit of gratitude and a heart to say yes to the Lord to be used by God, take advantage of this now. With that right heart and faith-filled actions, you may just see a miracle this day. This may be that this is the day the Lord has made and this may be the day that God begins to change things irrevocably for the rest of your life.
He may just make the rest of your life the best of your life, if you let him. If you allow Him to be that very present help in a time of trouble.
Closing Devotional Prayer
My prayer for you: Father in the name of Jesus, I thank you. I thank you for the grace of God and for the glory. I thank you that you are alpha and omega, the beginning and the end. Thank you for the mighty woman of God stepping fully into gladness, joy, gratitude, and the power of now.
I thank you Lord that the mighty woman of God is going to shift and that she's going to allow you to be a very present help in a time of trouble. Thank you Lord that she is going to open her heart to the fact that you have already made a way. In this moment and in this time, you are ready for her to believe again; to receive again that you are her God. I thank you Lord and I pray in Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.
