This is not the season to be quiet. This is not the time to remain silent. Praise is a weapon to defeat the hands of the enemy. We see throughout scripture where the Lord comes to His people's defense because of their worship, because they praised him. They lifted him up above certain situations and surely the Lord had his way.

The sound of your voice being released like a trumpet is a testament to the entire environment that you belong to God, that you are his daughter, and that your needs and your circumstances are beneath the Lord our God. When we lift up the voice of praise and we shower the Lord with adulation and worship, we tell the environment who God is. We remind ourselves that he is El Shaddai, that he is a keeper of his promises. His promises, which are yes and amen.

To lift up your voice and sing because you know God has your back is such an underutilized weapon. To lift up your voice and bless his name is something that sets the believer apart from the world. We don't take care of our issues on our own. We give it to God. We trust in Him. We lift Him up no matter what. He is our defense, our strong tower, our God. He is God alone. And there is nobody like him.

Decide today to walk with God. Decide today to rest in his presence.

Let go of yesterday.

Let go of anxiety.

Let go of fear.

Let go of worry.

Let go of shame.

Release these things. Put them on the altar and bless God. No, you're not perfect and God never intended for you to be. You are His. You belong to the sovereign God, the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. Trust Him. Walk with Him. Lean not into your own understanding, but acknowledge God in all of your ways. Bless Him and open that door to hearing him ever the more.

More Clearly

More Profoundly.

This is what happens when you bless God. You're opening up a conversation with the one who created you. And this is the hour to do it. Today of all days, which is, of course, an election day here in the United States of America. Lift up the Lord. Lift up your God. Worship him. And know that His mercies endure forever. He will overcome the hand of the enemy.

The enemy might be able to stand up to you. But he can't stand up to the one that created him. God is God alone. There's nobody else. Bless His name today and watch things begin to change.

Closing Devotional Prayer

My prayer for you. Father, in the name of Jesus, I thank you. I thank you for the grace and the glory. I thank you, God, for being a keeper. I thank you, God, that this is the day. I thank you, God, for the grace and the glory. I thank you, God, for being a keeper. I thank you, God, that the walls are coming down.

Please, God, release every distraction. Release every way. Allow the grace and the glory to come forth in Jesus' name. Remove barriers. Remove walls. Lord, peace, be still. Peace. Peace. Let that come forth now over the mighty woman of God. Over the one reading this devotional, listening to this devotional. Allow the blessing of the Lord to come forth in a mighty way.

And Lord, give her the courage to lift up her hands and to bless you. We're not worried about how it sounds. We're not worried about sounding good. No. Lord, I pray that she will lift up her hands and that she will bless you from a deep well of thanksgiving and trust that you are her Father and that she is your daughter. She's covered. Everything that's not like you has to break because she's covered.

Every wall has to come down because she's covered. I thank you, God, that she's releasing a sound now in the name of Jesus. And that she knows that now is the time to release this sound. For, Lord, God, your timing is spectacular. You know what is working, what does not work, what you have planned and what you have not planned and you are ordering her steps, Lord. So I thank you for the blessing, I thank you for the peace, and I thank you for the glory in Jesus' mighty name. Amen.
