Audio Version Of This Devotional: Joy in the Morning Audio
The heaviness of past seasons are coming to an end. As God is lightening the load in this hour, prayer and fasting opens the door for you to break away from the heaviness and the chains and the complacency of old seasons. God is ushering forth something new in the life of the believer.
The reignited fire and the desire to walk with Him completely are coming forth in the supernatural. God is blessing each and every one of us to come back into his presence and to rest under the weight of His glory as we are restored and prepared for this new season. The peace of God is here. Revelation about our divine assignment in this season and the grace to finish the race in which God has set before us are both being released right now.
God has ordained mighty shifts and open doors for those who have waited. You've been at peace and trusting Him along your journey. For this reason alone, you are seeing a transformation. Your faith is making room for you. The Bible says that without faith, it is impossible to please God.
6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. - Hebrews 11:6 KJV
Reading the scripture, you see in Hebrews chapter 11, verse 6, that he that comes to God must believe that he is and that he is the reward of them that diligently seek him. So for those who have waited, because you have trusted, the faith that you have operated in is opening doors for you. You may not have always been perfect, and there may be some things that you wish you could change, but here and now, all things are working together to saturate your atmosphere and prepare you for a new wave of His glory in your life.
The peace of God is coming forth. The joy is coming back. The prominent scripture that may come forth in other devotionals, but it's highly appropriate in this moment is Isaiah 61:7-8. And in this scripture, in Isaiah 61, it talks about shame. In exchange for the shame, there is something new. There's a joy coming back. So Isaiah 61 verse 7 through 8 reads,
7 For your shame ye shall have double; and for confusion they shall rejoice in their portion: therefore in their land they shall possess the double: everlasting joy shall be unto them.
8 For I the Lord love judgment, I hate robbery for burnt offering; and I will direct their work in truth, and I will make an everlasting covenant with them.
This everlasting covenant, this peace, this joy is coming back supernaturally for you. There is a grace that is coming forth. There is a peace that is undeniable. God is able to do what He said he would do. So our cornerstone scripture today, which speaks to weeping enduring for a night, is speaking to a season of weeping. Seasons of grieving, of recovery, and of rest: They have endured for a season. They have endured and have sometimes felt dark for those who have endured loss.
You have encountered the ending of relationships and for many, you have simply been in your own personal winter. You have been dealing with the issues of life from a safe and sacred place as God guides you. The night is coming to an end now and joy is coming in the morning. Get ready for things to change. Prepare your heart for a fresh wave of God's glory.
Rest in the sovereignty and power of our God, for he is able to do it. Face every old season and every fear. let go of the challenges of old, for those things are passing away. And now all things are being made new for you.
Closing Devotional Prayer
My prayer for you: Father, in the name of Jesus, I thank you. I thank you for the mighty woman of God. I thank you for great grace. I thank you for the peace of God which shall supply all of her needs, God, according to your riches and glory.
There is a grace being released over her life, over the work of her hands, over her assignments, and over her family. I thank you that that grace is coming suddenly. Let it come upon her like a wave of your glory, oh God. Let it break every bit of tension, every bit of doubt, every bit of insecurity. Let it fall away now in the name of Jesus. Empower her, God, with your spirit. Empower her with your grace.
Empower her, oh God, with confidence and love. Love conquers all. It is out of your great love that you sent your son to die on the cross, for her and for me. I thank you, Lord, that the grace of God is going forth now, that that debt has been paid and that we can be reconciled to you because of it.
Love, indeed, conquers all. Fill her heart with a fresh love and a renewed passion, a right spirit with you. Create in her a clean heart, oh God. I thank you, God, for the renewal. I thank you for the restoration. I thank you for the grace and for the peace, for you are God alone and besides you, Lord, there is no other.
Thank you for the way being made. Thank you for the shift and I thank you, Lord, for the outpouring. I thank you and I pray in Jesus' mighty name, Amen.
