God is faithful. He knows that there are things in your past you wish you could go back and change. It's easy to get lost back there. It's easy to wonder what you could have done differently, how you could have changed and maybe just made one different decision. How could it have affected your life right now? And while thinking on these things and thinking on what is gone, we miss out on the opportunity to fulfill the promises of God now. To step into the yes and the amen of Jesus Christ requires presence for the now.
Yes, it may be something that doesn't even exist anymore. It may be that the possibilities from 20 years ago aren't the possibilities now. People change, people pass away, doors open, doors close, businesses come, businesses go. But the love of the Father is everlasting. From glory to glory and from faith to faith. God is faithful and he makes a way. He knows exactly what he's doing. Despite the resistance that you may be feeling, despite the frustration with the situations, God knows what he's doing.
He knows. He knows and he loves you. He knows. God is a keeper. So even the hidden things that people around you don't know, God is aware of exactly what's in your heart. What resistance, what fears, what anger, what frustration, what bitterness. It's all there. Nevertheless, he is still God and his promises are yes and amen. It will happen.
And yes, regardless of how long it has been, regardless of the wait to carry it through to this new season, God can handle carrying your dreams and your desires in this season. He can handle carrying the desires of your heart. He knows what is next. For he knows the thoughts that he thinks towards you to give you a future and a hope.
11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
12 Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you.
13 And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart. - Jeremiah 29:11-13 KJV
He is faithful and he is an everlasting help. In this season, remember that the glory of God is always present through the Holy Spirit. It's that many times we do not receive the grace of God. We attempt to fix things in our own understanding. We lean onto our own understanding and fail to acknowledge God in all our ways that he may direct our paths. So we begin to operate like the world and still expect glorious size manifestation.

We begin to think like the world, attempt to do things in our own strength, work through the carnal weapons of the world, and wonder why we have not yet seen the glory of God being released. The glory takes faith that God is with you and that he will restore and it takes grace being received from the Lord. You must receive the grace in order for you to see the glory be manifest. No one is perfect. We have all fallen short of the glory of God.
Nevertheless, God is still God and he is still able. Decide today, choose ye this day, whose report you will believe.
15 And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord. -
You can't have both. You must be one or the other and the grace of God is right there for the taking.
Will you believe and receive that the Lord is restoring you right this moment?
Will you receive that his grace has been released over you and that the favor of God goes before you?
Do you believe the report of the Lord which is yes and amen?
Do you believe in his promises?
Do you believe he is a promise keeper?
These questions are worth asking and they're worth answering yourself. What is it that you believe? Who is it that you believe in? Whose report have you accepted? The report of this world and all of the lack and all of the brokenness or the report of the Lord who desires to see you covered, blessed, and fulfilled in the promises of God. It is time now to see the fullness of God in the land of the living. It's time to see the breaking of day. It's time to see the God of the universe as also being the God who is like your father and a friend who sits closer than a brother.
He is God alone. When you feel abandoned and your mother and father have abandoned you, family has left you, you don't really know what to do next, remember that the Lord will take you up.
10 When my father and my mother forsake me, then the Lord will take me up. - Psalm 27:10 KJV
These are promises of God. Receive them. Believe them. It's not the time to go back into old thoughts and old fears. Those seasons are gone. The woman you were is gone. Now in this place and in this time, receive the blessing of the Lord your God. Receive that He is able to do it and receive in your heart that yes, the Lord will restore.
Closing Devotional Prayer
My prayer for you: Father, in the name of Jesus, thank you. Thank you for shifting the atmosphere. Thank you God for your ways are not our ways and your thoughts are not our thoughts. You know what it is that you desire of us, God. You know, God, that you desire to see the breaking of day over each and every one of us, your sons and your daughters. And for these women in the daily devotional community, I thank you, God, that they are daughters of the living God, that they would receive that you are with them, that you care for them, that you will restore and that in fact, you've already done it.
We are merely walking out the reality of it by faith. I thank you for an outpouring of your spirit, God. I thank you for faith everlasting, from faith to faith and from glory to glory. I'm thanking you, God, that nations are covered with your will and your way. And Lord God, your purposes will go forth in the earth over every nation in the land, that they will know that you are the Lord, that every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess that you are God and God alone.
I thank you, God, for just covering the mighty woman of God, her fears, her dreams, her desires. I pray that she places them on the altar before you and that she make her way into worship, oh God, with her hands lifted up and her heart surrendered to you. I thank you, Lord God, for the manifestation. I thank you for the grace. And I thank you for the glory. In Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.
