God is faithful to walk with you in your journey and help you to finish what you started. In the Cornerstone Scripture of 2nd Corinthians 9:8-9, we see where God is able to make all grace abound toward you. In this verse of Scripture, grace is discussed as a tangible force that God can send in your direction to walk with you, to equip you, to lift you up, to surround you.
He says that He will send it to abound toward you, that you will always have all sufficiency, aka have all that you need in all things, and that you may complete every good work. God sends His Spirit in His grace to help you finish. So, why is it that there are so many things that we can look back on and see that we started and did not complete?
Projects that we put our hands to that were not done, and we wonder why we're waiting on God to give us the next instruction. Have you listened to the last instruction? Have you trusted Him in the last instruction? Have you given everything to see the finished work of the Lord? Have you done it? Have you completed it? Have you truly committed to the finish of those old projects? Yes, it's easy for the energy and the excitement to pass from a thing. It's easy to start something, and for life to get in the way, and for you to feel that maybe the time has passed.
However, God is not a man that He should lie, nor the son of man that He should change His mind.
19 God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good? - Numbers 23:19 KJV
When Sarah tired of waiting and decided to give her servant to Abraham, they created Ishmael, but that was not the finish of their story. God did not change His mind about the promise that He made to the Father of our faith. Isaac was the promise. So, despite the fact that Sarah was tired of waiting, despite the fact that Abraham willingly went along with and essentially decided to come into agreement with Sarah and create Ishmael, that did not matter to God.
His promises were still yes and amen. His work, the assignment that He had given them of waiting, of trusting, of being the Father of many nations, that did not change just because they decided to abandon the waiting process. Likewise, everything that God has given you, all the ideas to creativity, some things as early as years ago, some things over, you know, 15 years ago, these things are things that God intended to help, bless, and create for someone. These things God intended to help you become in the finish.
When the grace of God abounds towards you and you finish something, there is something inherently that changes inside of you. There is something that you step into. You are finishing an assignment. This is adding to you. It's enhancing the oil. It is granting you wisdom. It is showing you things you did not know. So, pressing towards the mark of the prize of the high calling in Christ Jesus is a necessity for you to become all that God has desired for you to become, for you to walk out those plans that He thinks towards you, that He has for you, to give you a future and a hope.
Pressing towards those things is what helps you to become. It's what helps you to see the finished work of the Lord in the land of the living. It's what helps you to become and to essentially develop into all that God requires. Remember that Isaac was the seed that would bring forth many descendants, more descendants than he could count, you know, grains of sand on the beach and stars in the sky. This was the promise of God.
17 That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies;
18 And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice. - Genesis 22:17-18 KJV
His promises fail not. He is faithful to help you to finish it. And the grace does abound, but you must come into agreement that that grace is abounding towards you, that God is sending His grace to cover you, that in His mercy, He is helping you. You must receive that, come into agreement, pray for that, and walk out the finished work of the Lord in all that He has put your hands to do. The Bible decrees that no man that putting his hands to the plow and looking back is fit for the kingdom of heaven.

62 And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God. - Luke 9:62 KJV
Putting your hands to the plow is starting what God has called you to start. And no matter what is happening in your life, no matter what situation attempts to sidetrack you, the finished work of the Lord is your assignment. It is your reward. It is a part of your becoming. And so this morning, pray. This morning, lean in. This morning, open your heart to finishing all that God has given you. Put your hands to getting back on track for the things that you know you to put your hands to. Know in your heart that the grace to get you back on track and to get you back to the finish line is there for you for the taking.
It is there for you to tap into. God is not a man that He should lie nor the Son of Man and He should change His mind. If God said it, that makes it so. He's right there waiting on you. He didn't go anywhere. He did not leave you. He did not forsake you. In this hour, there is a grace in the glory that is going forth. Tap in and finish what you started. He's waiting on you.
Closing Devotional Prayer
My prayer for you: Father, in the name of Jesus, I thank you. I thank you for the creative ability, O God. I thank you that all doubt and worry is coming down in the name of Jesus. I thank you, O God, that you are the rock of the ages, O God, that we can trust in you. We can lean on to you. You are good and your mercies endure forever.
I thank you, O God, that you're setting ambushments against the enemies of this mighty woman of God. Thank you that everything that is lifted it’s hand up against her, against her family, against her children, and against her mother, father, in order to distract her, against her husband, Lord, in order to try to delay her: All of those things are coming down now in the name of Jesus. For you are the Lord, our God, and your mercy endures forever.
I thank you, Lord, for being a keeper. I thank you, Lord, for being the sovereign God. Lord, you're bigger than every situation. You're bigger than our problems, O God. I thank you, Lord, God, for keeping the mighty woman of God. I thank you, O God, that we're acknowledging you now in all of our ways. Please, Lord, direct our paths. Please, God, walk with this mighty woman of God. Please, God, give her the power to get back on track, get back in the saddle, believe you again, and see the finished work of the Lord in the land of the living.
I thank you, O God, that a finisher's anointing is running towards her to grace her, O God, to equip her, O God, for a strong finish in the name of Jesus. For the Bible decrees, O God, that all grace abound towards her, that she may have all sufficiency, all that she needs to finish, O God, that she'll have a God in abundance. And so, Lord, I decree in the name of Jesus that, Lord God, abundance of grace is coming upon her now, that she may see the finished work.
She is going to complete it. Lord God, every hindering delay and denial has to come down. I thank you, Lord, and I pray in Jesus' mighty name. Amen.
