To Our Free and Paid Subscribers:
Thank you for valuing the work we do here. Michelle ( M.H. Elrich) and I are the only two writers. She writes Sip Saturday, and I write every other devotional. Sunday - Saturday. We pour our hearts out to encourage and empower women.
God is funny. I was thinking this morning about how I could grow the number of paid subscribers here, and I felt that I was giving too much with Her Morning Prayers being daily. I thought of maybe doing weekend prayers for free and only doing the Daily Devotional every day.
Then this comment came, and I realized the goodness of God.
The prayers are a two-edged sword:
They are a service to the Kingdom of God (Matthew 6:33) and my protection against persecution and being accused of only caring about money. I didn’t think I would need it… until now.
The daily, heartfelt, Holy Spirit-filled prayers are a testament to my heart for God and to the women who are called to this ministry.
Anyone who has listened to the prayers hears the truth of my commitment to ministering the Gospel through my life. I don’t need to be afraid of charging for the devotional.
No one needs the devotional to feel the love of God through this publication.
Nor do they need the devotional to experience the transformational power of Jesus Christ through our work.
The prayers are more than enough.
The grace of God is in them, and the power to change lives is inherent in each one of them.
Claire and so many women have shared how the prayers are blessing them. The comments have kept me encouraged and rooted in the good work we do here. The responses have kept me on the wall when I’ve struggled with why there are 25,000 free subscribers and only 31 paid subscribers in this devotional.
Fortunately, I have a business, and my children are well provided for through two loving parents who are raising four beautifully respectful and loving teens in the world. But my dream is to drop down to partial/light work in business with FULL commitment to this Daily Devotional publication.
I believe this is my calling, and the fruit is evident in the growth to over 25,000 free subscribers, 160,000 prayer podcast downloads, and 30 women who are blessed by the comprehensive devotionals every day.
I am pouring from a full cup of God’s grace, provision, and love.
So when some of my business friends suggested that I charge $19 a month for this devotional, I was able to ignore the outside voices and listen to God. I stripped all the extras and only charge $8 per month for the written and audio Daily Devotional we do here.
Going Forward in 2026:
We will have a team of prayer warriors.
We will bring on other writers for the devotionals.
And this businesstry will continue to grow in the Lord. Praying always and loving deeply.
But we can’t do this if no one invests in the Daily Devotional. I will not ask women to write for free because that is time away from their husbands, their children, and their families.
When Michelle needed help with a sudden financial burden, there weren’t enough subscribers here to pay her, so I asked her to put her giving campaign at the bottom of Sip Saturday so that the community could pour in.
A few helped, and Michelle was very appreciative - But that can not be how this publication operates. So, yes - we charge $8 per month for the Daily Devotional with the hope that Michelle and women like her who write for this devotional will be compensated for their work.
Here is how YOU can help
Like Claire, please keep sharing the prayers with the women in your life. Everyone needs prayer, and these short prayers are full of peace and God’s Spirit.
If you can upgrade to the Paid Daily Devotionals, please do so. It’s only $8 per month and will help to build up a team of writers who love God, invest their time into writing, and pour out their gifts into this publication.
The fact that this is the first outright negative comment about the work we do here is a true blessing. I believe it was God showing me that we are on the right path and to keep going in the way that He is guiding us. Thank you for being here.
