Today’s Devotional Scripture: 14 And I will bring again the captivity of my people of Israel, and they shall build the waste cities, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and drink the wine thereof; they shall also make gardens, and eat the fruit of them.
15 And I will plant them upon their land, and they shall no more be pulled up out of their land which I have given them, saith the Lord thy God. - Amos 9:14-15 KJV

Audio Version Of This Devotional: Welcome Home Audio
It's time to stop wandering. It's time to get planted. This scripture is a promise from God to the children of Israel that He would do the planting. He would do the work of setting their feet on solid ground. He shows them what is going to happen in terms of their capacity to plant vineyards, to build abandoned cities, to drink the wine, to make gardens, and eat of their own fruit.
These are all things that God is guaranteeing in this scripture to the children of Israel that he will do for them and it goes on further to say that, “And I will plant them upon their land”. This planting upon their land, their territory, is done by the Lord that they would not be uprooted again. We see this scripture essentially laying out for the children of Israel what they can expect in this season, what they can expect as God begins to work on their behalf to break and bind any restrictions, any captivity, and bring them to an expected end.
This is the promise in Amos 9, chapters 14 through 15. Tonight, this scripture serves as a reminder that God is able to do what he said he would do. He's able to restore what has been lost. He's able to do the work that you couldn't possibly do on your own. He's able to plant in ways that makes it so that you can't be unplanted.
So the promise of stability, the promise of being rooted, and the promise of having staying power are all the Word that is given in this scripture. This is the word that the Lord promises to the children of Israel through their scripture. And he speaks it out and he walks it out. The Lord keeps his promises. To end captivity and to shift you into owning land; to go from lacking and feeling stuck to walking in abundance is a move of God.
Whether that happens overnight or whether that has taken years for you to prepare for the season of shift, this is the word of the Lord and it shall not fail concerning you. The things that you've been working on and building, the commitment you've had to figure it out, and to keep going in spite of is the stuff that miracles are made of. This is what opens the door and opens up the Holy Spirit to respond to the activated faith that you're walking in.
That faith that you have that God is gonna do it for you and that is already done,
That faith that you have that God is going to restore you and keep you in every season,
That faith that you have held close to you for the promises of God?
That faith is lining you up with God's word.
That faith is opening the door.
That faith is bringing you into agreement with the promises of God, which are yes and amen.
God is not a man that he should lie nor the son of man that he should have to repent or change his mind. The Lord has come forth through his word. It has been released since before the day that you were born and ordained for such a time as this. This is the season to spring forth knowing that God will do the planting. He is doing the restoring. You only have to say yes.
Come into agreement with the word of the Lord. Follow in His guidance and his footsteps. Listen to the word of the Lord. Meditate on his scripture day and night that you may have good success. This is the promise of God that we can sit with him, glean from him, learn from him and that we wouldn't just have success but that we would have good success. These are the promises of God, which are yes and amen.
God doesn't change his mind. It's time to receive that the wandering seasons are coming to an end. Receive in your heart that the waste places are being rebuilt in your life. That things that have been broken and missing and lacking are coming forth with power. Receive, thus saith the Lord of hosts, all that God has for you, all that he is doing and has already done. Receive this in the name of Jesus and watch God move for you.
Closing Devotional Prayer
My prayer for you: Father, in the name of Jesus, thank you. Thank you for the outpouring of your spirit. Thank you God for the grace and the glory. Thank you for the supernatural power of God.
Your word never fails God. It never runs dry. Thank you Lord God for the outpouring of your spirit. Thank you for the fire of God. Burn away everything that's not like you and every weight that is attempting to pull her back into an old season.
Let every word that has risen be condemned. Lord, let every word that has risen against your word be condemned in this season. I pray for the fire of God to go forth now over the mighty woman of God. Lord God, we have seen Elijah pray and we've seen you answer by fire. Lord, thank you for being that God that responds to us, oh God, and that responds to us in such a way that our lives can become a demonstration.
Lord God, you could uproot the hands of the enemy with our obedience and you could cast down every strong man, every stronghold, and every lie from the pit of hell just because we said yes God and we committed to the journey. We committed to the process. I thank you Lord for the fire of God. I thank you oh God that we are battle tested and proven.
Bless the mighty woman of God as she goes forth in her day. Bless her God with revelation, with peace, and with power. I pray Lord and I thank you in Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.
