There is an old adage about working smart, working hard, and putting your best foot forward. The world loves to speak in terms of accomplishment, hard work, pulling it all together, and managing your life well. But what if none of that was the desire of the Father?
What if He did not desire you to be superwoman, but He desired for you to walk with Him in communion and relationship? What if you were designed to carry the Holy Spirit in the earth? The breath of God, the life of God that cannot be overcome by darkness.
What if this is, in fact, your portion: to walk with God in ease, to walk with Him by faith, and to know that He is God even if you can’t do it in your own strength? He is still God, he is still mighty to deliver, he is still mighty to save. In our cornerstone scripture today, we see the scripture that says He is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think.
