God is so faithful. Often, when we’re facing battles and going through the day-to-day, it’s hard to see the root of a thing. Some things we don’t even know have roots that go back generations to grandparents and parents. We’re fighting these battles, and the battles are here and now in this moment. The battle is here and now in this season, but there is a root. There is a cause.
We see it in scripture time and time again, where the Lord will send an answer through a believer and a follower of Jesus Christ, where a thing that has roots will be revealed, and the real battle comes to bear. We see it in Daniel 10, when the Lord revealed what was around the king of Persia, and in Daniel 10, Daniel fasted 21 days, and the angels contended in the book of Daniel 10.
We see it with Esther. Esther was in a position of becoming the queen to replace Queen Vashti that was removed from that position, and when she became queen, there was a thing revealed to Mordecai that a person who was at the right hand of the king and had influence was, essentially, aiming to eliminate the Israelites.
And when the thing was discovered, Mordecai went to Esther, and we get the scripture, which is calling her forth in Esther 4:14, to take the chance and to move forward, and the thing that she may have been positioned to do.
