The world loves superheroes. The world loves for people to have their lives together and to be in control. It is perceived as a form of strength to have your life be controlled, professional, clean, and impressive. These words convey this idea of experience equaling output, and in the output of experience is often excellence and perceived competence.
This is the way the world works
This is what the world is built on. It is built on whether or not you are perfect, whether or not you are polished, and whether or not you have it all together.
But this scripture shows us that God uses the people of God, guides the people of God, and leads the people of God out of situations, not because we are perfect, but because we say yes. The last thing God is looking for is perfection. What God desires from us is faith, trust, and obedience to His will and His way. Perfection never factors into any of that.
