It’s hard to know which way to go when looking at different pathways and not knowing the consequences that each will bear. When looking at a divergent road in your life and in your situations and determining the best course of action, logic can certainly serve you. The wisdom of this world can help you determine which way to go.

But when looking at all that is before you, knowing who is with you can make a major difference. Knowing that you are the daughter of a risen king and that we love the God who created the universe and everything in it, that makes everything different. It makes it different because we are no longer finite beings walking through this earth alone.

We now become finite beings covered by the infinite power of God and able to walk fully in the promises of God, which are yes and amen.

Knowing these things can shift you. Knowing these things can bring about peace as you’re looking at the divergent road. It can bring about an ease as you’re looking at which path to take. It can bring about hope to know who is with you as you face the Goliath.

Hope in the King of glory. Hope that He is going to be the great I am in your life day in and day out. That hope is what we’ve been missing. That hope is what we give up when we lean to our own understanding. There is a reason the Bible tells us not to do that. There’s a reason the word tells us to lean not to our own understanding.
