Amen🙏. Like you I am not so sure if it is an absolute sin as some have advised me, that is working on Sunday as well as Saturday being the “true” rest day, I do believe that there is substance and a reason we should rest as God did. He didn’t need to however He desired too, I really like how you stated that! So I’m thinking that we most definitely need to rest and focus more on Him, truly seeking Him as we slow down and bask in Him, our one and only very true friend, Father God.
I believe that this practice would strengthen us in ways we would not notice and in ways that we would with all being just what we need to move in this world in top shape.
This is great perspective. We can be renewed by resting. It does make sense, because if I am writing a detailed document, then take a break and come back to it, I see it with fresh eyes. I also can get ideas while focusing on a walk, for example.
My increased awareness that rest is part of God’s divine rhythm has brought me many benefits. A rested mind and body bring clarity and set the atmosphere for increased excellence the other six days.
Rest is needed to reset your mind ,body, and spirit. When one gets too busy, most things required are done half the way.
