So true. Life's hurricanes are unavoidable. Uncontrollable. Yet there is peace in the midst of storms. The eye of the hurricane is in Jesus Himself. Rest.
Thank you. We go through gut-wrenching struggles. What helps up best is to "Cry onto his chest, scream into his ears, and fall into his arms." Even when it is dire, he provides like in Psalm 23:5 "You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows."
Oh how I needed to read this today. The last few years, illnesses have come upon me like waves. Just when I think I’ve made peace, prayed to draw closer to him & be a witness to others, another one washes over me. With this latest one occurring a few weeks ago, I now feel lost, empty, angry & not at all close to God. It’s frightening because I’ve never felt this sad or lonely in my 64 years on this earth.
Thank you for your ministry & words of comfort to me today. They’ve help move me in the right direction.
