Opening Prayer:
Father, in the name of Jesus, thank you, thank you for covering the mighty woman of God. I thank you, God, that we’ve made it through another day. I thank you, God, that this evening God be blessed in the name of Jesus. I thank you, Lord God, for traveling mercy; she made it through the day. Oh God, and we are here now. As she scrolls through Substack, as she scrolls through social media. Lord, I’m praying right now as she prepares for bed.
Maybe she’s an early sleeper. God. I just thank you, God, for wherever she is. I pray God that you will bless the mighty woman of God now. Lord, I thank you right now that every bit of pressure that she’s holding, every bit of weight on her shoulders. Oh God. All of the things, God that still must be done in preparation for a new day.
The things that she’s been thinking about, the various projects that she’s been working on. I thank you, Lord God, that they can be placed down before you, and she can release the weight. In the name of Jesus, for you are the Lord our God and there is nobody like you. I thank you for the blessing on this nightlight devotional. I thank you, God, that the mighty woman of God is at peace.
That as she begins to rest tonight, and she lays down those heavy burdens that your grace and your love would cover her. In the name of Jesus, I thank you for severing every stronghold and releasing every weight, tearing down every wall, every heavy burden, let it be released in the name of Jesus.
I thank you, God, that you tell us in Matthew 11:28-30, that your yoke is easy and your burden is light. To come before you come to you all who are weary and heavy lading and you will give us rest. So I thank you, God, for rest for our weary souls. I thank you for rest for our hearts and minds. Thank you for rest for our bodies, Lord. I thank you, and I pray in Jesus mighty name. Amen.
It is so easy to carry this weight throughout the day into your evening. To be up at 10:30 pm, looking at the ceiling, scrolling through, finding the answer. Maybe there are some really heavy things that you’re dealing with right now. And the things are overwhelming. And so it keeps you up, it keeps you from resting, and it keeps you from sleeping.
But God is so good. He is able to bring about peace. He’s able to bring about joy. He’s able to bring in a peace that surpasses all understanding. In every situation, whether it’s storming outside or whether it’s chaos inside, we can surrender to the Lord our God.
We can lay down our heavy burdens, and we can know in our hearts that He’s holding us. He’s keeping us. Release everything that’s heavy: every bit of worry, every bit of shame, and every bit of anxiety. All of the deadline dates and things that are due, give them to God wholly and fully. Just envision yourself handing it to God, putting it before his throne, and letting go.
So that your heart and mind can be at ease. So that your body can come into a place of rest. He knows what you need. He knows your financial needs. He knows that you want to start that business. He knows that you want to launch that book. He knows that you want to travel more. He knows the desires of your heart. And He can guide you into living the life of your dreams with him in reality. Because the just shall live by faith and not by sight.
We don’t live by what we see, but we live by every word that comes out of the mouth of the Father. We live by stewardship, by grace, and by glory. He is God alone. And so Lord, I thank you for the peace of God. I thank you for the love.
I thank you for being Jireh. Lord, you are good and your mercy endureth forever. Lord, you are good and your mercy endureth forever. Lord, you are good and your mercy endureth forever. Lord. Break down every wall.
I just slipped into prayer because I can just feel the presence of the living God. But the prayer is already done for this devotional. And He is mighty to save and mighty to deliver. And so I’m praying for you tonight.
I’m praying for you in the morning. I’m praying for you, mighty woman of God. Get your rest this night. Be still tonight and know that He is God. Release every weight and be refreshed in Jesus. I’ll see you in tomorrow night’s devotional.
Good evening.
