Bless them all.. this has been really devastating for many.. including our Lord<3.. as he is with the Lord now, he will remain in good hands from his family to heaven
This is all well and good but I’d like to know if you did the same for the Minnesota state lawmakers and their spouses who were gunned down in the homes with children home. They were people too…only democrats.
Hi. Thank you, Nora for sharing your thoughts. I've been praying for this publication for 18 months I have a mandate to pray. I pray for people - not political parties. I pray for people - not liberals or conservatives.
I have prayed for the state lawmakers and their families just like I've prayed for homeless women, cancer patients, domestic violence survivors, and women like you and me who are simply trying to feed their families. I know you do not know me and perhaps have never listened to any of the 308 prayers you can find in this publication.
Or else, you'd know my heart. Last, but not least, the bible tells me to pray for my enemies. I've never felt the need to PUBLICLY pray for anyone, but I was led by the Spirit to pray publicly for Charlie Kirk's family in repentance as I spent the 48 hours following his death publicly defending black people from the race-based rhetoric he often used to share his beliefs on DEI and Affirmative Action.
I allowed emotions to cause me to speak on his words before this man was in the ground. Before his family laid him to rest. I used my platform and influence to publicly denounce his use of words, vs praying for a man that bled out in front of 3,000 people, including his wife.
I lost friends because I wasn't willing to excuse his words away with the context that surrounded those words. I believe a lot of what he said, but I took offense at the rhetoric he used to say it. So yeah - I know that Democrats were people too, as I was raised in a poor black democratic household. My mother is a person. My father is a person. I am a person.
And Charlie Kirk was a person. Praying for his family is my biblical responsibility that should have been my first response, not an afterthought. My mother raised me better, and as a believer, I know better. It's okay if you don't agree with that, but I caution you to avoid taking your emotions and pre-conceived notions into pure spaces. This space is pure, and it will stay that way - even from my own feelings and emotions. Thank you, Nora.
Yes please !
Thank you. I will take the time to write them out and share the post tomorrow afternoon. Thank you.
Would love to know more about the lessons you learned! Thank you for this prayer and for your prayers every single day! 🙏
Absolutely Michelle. It will take a little time to walk through it, so I will post it tomorrow.
Sounds absolutely wonderful. Thank you so much for being such an inspiration. Thank you for loving Him so much because that love spreads!!

Amen. I can't begin to imagine what Erika Kirk is going through.
Bless you, send me your takeaways from such a senseless tragedy. 💕🙏🏻kathy
