Open Devotional: The Breaking Point
Comprehensive Devotional Open To All Members
She’s a sleeping giant
with a heart full of gold.
The glory is rising
and restoring her soul.
God has her heart
and He won't let go.
Many are at the breaking point right now. Exhausted from an overwhelming season in a tumultuous year. Personal and public battles with the enemy may be weighing you down even more. Get ready for a shift as God replenishes and restores.
At the end of your rope and wondering how much longer your grip will hold? Perfect. It’s time to simply… let go and release. Open your hands and lay it at His feet. God never intended for you to carry the battles alone. He never designed you to be so independent that you face your battles with your own strength and no hope.
Like rivers of rushing water, the grace of God isn’t punishing you… it’s pulling you under. Under the cover of divine protection and in the shadow of the almighty (Psalm 91:1). The all consuming love of God is the place to be. The breaking point isn’t the end. It’s where God sets you free. Free from your will, your ego, and the crippling pride orchestrated to toss your life into a chokehold.
In the shadow of the almighty is where His glory, His peace, and His power reside. This is the place where joy and love are restored. The joy of the Lord and the love for your life - no matter how slow moving and painful this life can sometimes seem. The breaking point is the catalyst of you truly being free.
Becoming lost in His presence and lifting God above every circumstance are the keys to walking out of the ashes of what was and into the joy of what will be. The breaking point is the pivotal moment where God guides you through your personal Red Sea. If you let Him. If you accept Him.
Embrace the hard moments and find strength through the pain. The other side of the breaking point holds freedom, victory, and soul-deep change.
