Opening Prayer:
Father, in the name of Jesus, thank you. Thank you for the mighty woman of God. Thank you, God, for this evening. I thank you, God, that we are here again.
The day is done, and we’re coming into a rested place and a settled place in your presence. The day has been heavy. There has been so much that has been poured out, so much that the woman has been exposed to, and so much that she has released herself, oh God. So many things to put our hands to, God, but Lord God, the day is done.
And in these quiet moments, God, we can feel so overwhelmed, alone, overthinking, pensive, anxious, and full of worry. But God, here and now, I thank you that the mighty woman of God will be at peace in your presence.
I’m praying for the grace and glory of God to go forth and for peace to be released, for the settled heart and the settled mind to be her portion. For greater is he that is within her, oh God, than he that is in the world.
I thank you for the spirit at work within the mighty woman of God to go exceedingly, abundantly above all that you can ask or think.
Tonight, God, we’re laying out the fears, the worries, the cares, the anger, the pain. We’re laying it out before you, oh God, placing it here and now. Lord, I thank you, God, that we can pour out before you, that, Lord God, you are a safe place. Lord God, you are judgment-free.
We can share the truth of who we are in you. We can share the truth of where we are in you and know, God, that you have an open-door policy, that you are the God that created the universe and everything in it, that you know the challenges we face.
Thank you, God, for being our safe space. Thank you, God, for being our strong tower. The Bible tells us, God, that the name of the Lord is a strong tower that the righteous run in and they are safe.
So, Lord, I thank you, God, that we’re running into your presence, that we’re running into your spirit, that we’re running in, oh God, and we’re saying yes in Jesus’ name. Amen.
Silence Society & Seek His Truth
Tonight, put down the noise. Tonight, put everything else down. Shut down the noise. Silence society. Silence every expectation of you. Silence what people think of you. Silence all the cares of this world. Silence it.
Silence the expectations, the weight, the oppressive ideals about who you are and what you should be. Let’s put those things down in the name of Jesus, and let’s rest before the Lord tonight, knowing that he is El Shaddai.
Who you are, the truth of it, the core of you, was known from before you were in your mother’s womb, and before you knew your name, the Lord knew you. There’s a purpose for you. There’s a plan for you.
So, as you look at the expectations of society, the pressures, and all that they believe you should do, the right thing to do, the goodly thing to do; let’s put that down and sit before the Lord and rest in his presence, pouring out the pain, the frustration, the feeling of not knowing which way to go.
Release it now. Release it. Pour out before the Lord. Just pour it out. Release everything. This is the first step to seeing the truth of where you are.
Remember that those who live by faith and not by sight, these are the ones who are blessed. We do not live by sight, we live by faith. And it says in 2 Corinthians 5:7, in the King James Version:
for we walk by faith, not by sight. - 2 Corinthians 5:7
In reading verses 6 through 8 in that same chapter, 2 Corinthians 5, verse 6 through 8, it says:
6 Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord:
7 (For we walk by faith, not by sight:)
8 We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord. - 2 Corinthians 5:6-8 KJV
The weight of this world and society’s expectations on how you need to operate in it is irrelevant. The shame that people make you feel for who you are is irrelevant.
The shame that you have felt simply because of the way that people set limitations on you can be released right now. We’re releasing every lie of the enemy. We’re releasing every expectation of man. We’re releasing it.
And now in this place, see the truth of who God is by faith and not by sight. We do not live in this world. We are not of this world.
The Bible tells us to not be conformed to this world, but rather, to be transformed by the renewing of our minds. So whether that’s Pharisaical mindsets in the church or whether that is idol worship in the world, there is another way. There is no left or right, there is another way.
Tonight, rest before the Lord and see the truth of who he has called you. See the truth of what God has for you and your walk with God.
So often the noise of society and the noise of this world can pressure us into life decisions and consequences that we were never intended to carry. But God is still faithful, and he is more than able to guide our very steps, to show us the way that He wants us to go, for his ways are higher. His ways are not our ways, and his thoughts are not our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9 KJV).
So, as we come before the King of glory, bearing all, releasing all, and silencing the noise of society, go to His word and see His truth for you. See His truth for how you decide going forward to move, because it’s in God that we live, that we breathe, that we have our very being.
It’s in Him that we find the truth that we are. It states in Acts 17:28, in the King James Version:
28 For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring. - Acts 17:28 KJV
You are a daughter of God, and as a daughter of God, man cannot constrain the reality of who God called you. Man cannot place you in a box and say that “this is God’s highest calling for you”.
Whatever God’s highest calling is for you, God will show you, because we know His voice. As the Bible tells us, … my sheep know my voice… and a stranger they will not follow (John 10:4-5, John 10:27 KJV).
Release the noise of society and the expectations of man, and tonight, take hold of who you’re called to be in Christ Jesus. Take hold of the truth of your life. Over the circumstance. Over the noise. Higher than every bit of weight and sadness and feeling of regret and loss.
God is still God, and right here, right now. He can take your life. He can take the weight of it and transform it. He can empower you to carry it according to his will and his way. He can give you a new way to live, to breathe, to be in this season.
Now’s the time to step into joy, to be restored in the joy of the Lord, to know who you are in Christ Jesus, to break the hand of the enemy, to live life, and to live it more abundantly (John 10:10 KJV).
To lift up the King of glory over every circumstance, over all of the weight, over all of the responsibilities, knowing who God called you, creating something new, knowing that the Holy Spirit is right now listening to your heart and at work within you.
To go exceedingly, abundantly above all that we can ask or think according to the power. That’s what it tells us in Ephesians 3:20-21.
Ephesians 3:20-21 gives us the liberty. It gives us the freedom. It gives us the promise that we have all that we need in this hour to be set free, to see the truth of God’s word.
In Ephesians 3:20-21, it states:
20 Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,
21 Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen. - Ephesians 3:20-21 KJV
Closing Devotional Prayer
My prayer for you.
Father, cover the mighty woman of God as she considers the desires of her heart tonight, as she lays them out before you. Lord.
I pray that she leaves this day knowing that you care about her, God, that you have heard her cry. That you indeed hear the desires of her heart, oh God, and that here and now, suddenly, you are making a way, oh God, for the mighty woman of God to rise into all you’ve called her to be. To be free and to walk in her destiny.
I thank you, Lord, and I pray in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.
Good evening.
This is a short, encouraging evening message.
