The Message For Today (February 1, 2026):
***Free Audi Version February, 1, 2026: Never Alone Audio 445
When we are walking through the issues of life, turning to God and walking with Him is something that we can learn to do, that we can see modeled. It’s something that we’ve seen our parents and our families do, it’s something that we’ve seen other believers in Christ do: to turn to God and pray, to lift up our hands and praise, those things are a part of our relationship with God and those things are a necessity.
However, God is not just with us in our praise, He’s not just with us in our worship, He’s not just with us in our prayers. God is with us always.
In the cornerstone scripture of Hebrews 13:5-6 in the King James Version, we can see that the warning from the apostle is to let your conversation be without covetousness. Let it be without desiring other things. Let it be without jealousy and let it be without all of the negative things that our flesh tends to gravitate to when things aren’t really lined up the way we need them to be in our lives.
To turn to what that person is doing, comparing and looking at our lives, and feeling like there’s just not enough or that we’re too far behind. This is the way the enemy keeps us stuck in an internal feedback loop. He keeps us wondering what we’ve done wrong, how we can fix it, and what we can do to see our lives change.
He has us so focused inward that we are not looking to the God that we serve in order to see how blessed we are, in order to understand the power of the moment we’re in, embracing it fully with gratitude and thanksgiving. It’s hard to be thankful when things aren’t lining up.
It’s hard to be thankful when it feels like the entire world is speeding forth, and you and your family are maybe not where you want to be, and things are hard, and the relationship is hard. Maybe family is... All of these things. Gratitude becomes the anchor.
When we look at all of that, and we say, Nevertheless, Lord, I will bless you, nevertheless, Lord, I will give you a sacrifice of praise. A sacrifice of praise is our gift to God, that despite what our lives look like, despite the situations, we will still praise Him for who He is. That is not conditional.
Our worship isn’t conditional.
Our praise isn’t conditional.
Our faith isn’t conditional.
That we believe who He is, that we make a decision, and we become committed to the journey of being a believer in Jesus Christ. Not just by word only, but in deed, in action, and in the positioning of our hearts.
This scripture shows us that we may think that He’s there when we’re in worship, and we know that He’s there in the house of the Lord, but He’s also right there in that room with you as you look at your expenses and think, How am I going to do this?
When you’re looking at the tumultuous marriage, when you’re looking at the friendships that are falling apart, and when you’re looking at the paychecks that feel like they’re just not growing, no matter how hard you work, God wants to remind you that he’s right there with you.
Being content with such things as you have, meaning looking at what you have. And sometimes, yes, it takes work to look at your life, look at what you have, and be grateful for the things that you feel like are just the baseline versus the blessings.
When we say the baseline versus the blessings, the baseline is good health, strength, just being at peace no matter what’s happening, having a place to sleep and a home to come to after work.
Having a car that maybe is a few years old, but at least it’s still running. Having a life that may not look like the best and all of the brightest that’s on social media, and that’s all over the television, and all that society says is worth it, but we decide to cling to the lover of our souls in thanksgiving.
It takes depth, it takes digging, it takes sitting in the middle of chaos, in the middle of frustration, and getting a pen and paper and thanking God for the simplest of things. The things that we may unknowingly be taking for granted. That’s what it takes to be content with such things as you have.
It does take work. It does take intentionality. It is a press, especially when you know God is showing you things. He has guided your steps through processes and guided you to homeownership or buying a second home. Guided you into businesses that now have a contrary wind, that now are dealing with struggles, and now it seems that doors are closing, and they should be opening for the Lord guided you in those steps.
You were led to grow in that direction. But just because God leads you to grow in a direction doesn’t mean that the growth process will not be without challenges, will not be without pain, will not be without certain circumstances that cultivate you and grow your faith.
This is why He tells us He will never leave us and He will never forsake us. He is right there with us in the midst of every trial, every circumstance, and every relationship that has fallen apart. Every job where you have unfairly been fired from and every situation where it feels like no matter what you try to do, it’s just not working.
It’s not meant to work in your own strength. It’s not meant to be something that you do in your own feelings and emotions. This is something that when God calls you to it, and when he calls you to stand in it, he is right there with you.
When He calls you to grow, when He calls you to submit, when He calls you to marry, when He calls you to minister the gospel, the challenge of becoming that woman is inherently a part of the goal. It’s a part of the instruction.
But knowing that you’re never alone helps you to keep that blessing mindset: that God has blessed you with the breath in your lungs. He has blessed you with the soundness of mind. He has blessed you with purpose. He has blessed you with children, even though there may be a little chaos today. He has blessed you with the assignments that He has placed in your hands to pursue.
He’s blessed you with meaning and purpose in life. He’s blessed you with the work of your arms and your legs. He’s blessed you to rise, sit up, and see another day, even though there may be pains in certain parts of your body.
He’s blessed you, and seeing that blessing and being rooted in that blessing with gratitude and thanksgiving is how we’re told to approach God in prayer.
In Philippians 4:6-8 in the King James version, it states:
6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. - Philippians 4:6-8 KJV
So we’re not just given the instruction to come to the Lord in thanksgiving in verse 6, but we’re told how to do it in verse 8. How to keep our minds on the things above, the things that we think about, right? Whatever is good, honest, lovely, just, and pure. All of these things give us a rooted place in which to remain in gratitude and to bring to our remembrance in every moment that God is with us.
We are here, and He is with us. Wherever you are, God is. The creator of the universe and everything in it is right here with you in this moment, in this very hour. And that means that no matter what your life looks like, no matter what situation you are facing, you’re already on the winning side. God is with you.
That is the nature and the fullness of our faith, that we will walk with God completely, suddenly shifting when He says go. Believing that in the going that He is with us. Knowing that if there are obstacles, He’s already provided a way of escape. If there’s something that we’re dealing with, God already knows it.
This is the weighted glory that comes by faith in the Lord that we serve and the God of the universe. He is God alone. And when you believe this, making this a part of your heart and mind, writing these scriptures on your heart that you might not sin against God, everything else in your life just follows suit. Everything else has to bow.
Your relentless faith, your relentless prayer, and your relentless desire to please the Lord is what the enemy is not ready for. It’s what the principalities and the dark forces can’t stop. They can’t stop relentless faith.
We see this in Revelation 3:8-11. It says:
8 I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name.
9 Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.
10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.
11 Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown. - Revelation 3:8-11 KJV
Now, here we see in this scripture that the Lord is telling us to hold fast, that no man can steal your crown. That means the principalities, the dark forces, the people that allow themselves to be used by the enemy in your life, circumstances, closed doors, and what feels like rumors of war, none of it matters. None of it matters.
When you come before the Lord, and you hold fast to the confession of your faith, you trust God no matter what. No matter what and no matter how much strength it takes just to hold fast to your faith. You keep that word, and you don’t deny Him in your life. That is how we overcome. That is how we have our victory. That is how we see the fullness of the word of the Lord. This is how we see it.
There’s yet another scripture that tells us that nothing can take us from the hand of our God. That is Romans 8:38-39 in the King James Version. And it states:
38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. - Romans 8:38-39 KJV
The promises of God are raining down through his scriptures. We are never alone. You are never alone. You are never by yourself. You are never facing the battles without the King of glory with you. Taking that in and taking that on gives you a peace that our Father is right there, every step of the way.
Closing Devotional Prayer
My Prayer for You:
Father, in the name of Jesus, I thank you that the mighty woman of God is here now. Lord, I give you glory, O God, for the Daily Devotional for Women community. I thank you, O God, in this first day of February, Lord God, that the grace and the glory are going forth supernaturally.
Lord, I thank you for sudden shifts. I thank you for breakthrough, God. I thank you, O God, that you are releasing, God, your grace and your glory. I thank you for the outpouring of your spirit. I thank you, God, for the scripture, which is sharper than any two-edged sword, cleaving soul from spirit.
Lord, God, we are going to get those emotions under control, and we’re going to step fully into your presence, O God, receiving the joy of the Lord, which is our strength.
We come against every principality and dark force that tells this mighty woman of God that she is not needed, that she is not necessary, and that her life doesn’t matter. I thank you, Lord God, that the mighty woman of God will begin to stand in the fullness, O God, that she has a purpose, that there is a plan for her life that goes beyond all that she can see, even in this moment. That us walking with you, God, is a lifelong journey.
So no matter how long it has been, no matter how long she has waited, no matter how many years since the promise she heard from you, Lord God, you are the God that redeems the time. You are the reconciler, O God, of women with their destiny, God.
You are Jehovah. You are Jehovah Rapha. You make ways out of no way, King of glory. Lord, I thank you right now for a sudden breakthrough. I thank you, God, for sudden release. I thank you, God, for this community.
And I thank you, O God, that as it continues to grow, that you would have your way, O God, reaching into the hearts and breaking every stronghold, breaking every wall, breaking every principality, breaking every lie of the enemy, O God, that the mighty woman of God would stand in the fullness of her faith, that she would stand in the measure that you have granted her.
According to Romans 12:3, you’ve given all of us a measure of faith. You’re no respecter of persons, O God. You’ve given all of us a measure of faith.
I pray in the name of Jesus that the mighty woman of God get ready, that she be prepared to work the faith that you’ve given her, O God, that she may see the miraculous, the miracles, the signs, and the wonders.
I thank you, Lord, and I pray in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.
