Today’s Devotional Scripture: 8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord.

It's time to let go of everything weighing you down. Every thought, every insecurity, and every misstep that you've made has a tendency to stick with you. We have a tendency to be shaped by our world and our experiences. The only way to break that shaping and form in a new way is to tap into the Holy Ghost and to tap into the Word of the Lord with the intention that we are indeed becoming new, that all things are made new, and that we are coming into a renewed mind.
The Bible says to be not conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind for a reason. To be transformed by the renewing of your mind is to constantly open your heart to the ways of God versus the ways of this world. There is a way that things are processed in the natural. There is a way for people to consider and think in the natural.
However, the grace and glory of God upon your life that has been inherently placed in your DNA requires that you spend time with God, that you spend time in His presence, that you spend time in prayer, and that you spend time reading His Word. This is what is required to unlock the value of the supernatural God at work within you. The scripture that we love to quote that says that God can do all things, He can do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think according to the power at work within us.
20 Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,
21 Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen. - Ephesians 3:20-21 KJV
That scripture is true, but we cannot skip over that part that says by the power that works in us. That power is the Holy Spirit and that Holy Spirit is only received and understood through prayer, through fasting, and through having a relationship with Jesus Christ. Higher. Go higher. See your life through the Word.
See your life through heaven's eyes. Don't get caught up in the things of this world, the religious dogma, the fear, nor the hatred. Rise higher than the politics and all of the noise. This is why the scripture says, be still and know that I am God. I will be exalted in the heavens and I will be exalted in the earth.
10 Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth. - Psalm 46:10 KJV
This scripture when read in the message version says, take a good long look at your God. Step above the politics, above the noise.
8-10 Attention, all! See the marvels of God!
He plants flowers and trees all over the earth,
Bans war from pole to pole,
breaks all the weapons across his knee.
“Step out of the traffic! Take a long,
loving look at me, your High God,
above politics, above everything.” - Psalm 46:8-10 MSG
This is the will of the Father: that we would step fully into Him, that we would not be conformed to this world, but we would be transformed by the renewing of our minds. God is able to do what He said He would do. He's able to keep us. He's able to transform us. He's able to bring us into right spirit, to give us a clean heart and a sound mind.
These things all come through prayer, through relationship, through the Word of the Lord, and through worship. These are our weapons, which are not carnal, but mighty through God for the pulling down of every stronghold (2 Corinthians 10:3-6).
It is time now to pull down every stronghold of lack, insecurity, and fear. Pull it down and watch what the Lord does. Watch how He shifts and transforms all things to line up with His Word. Watch how He comes in and begins to transform your life in ways that the natural man cannot possibly understand. This is what happens when you love God, when you trust God, and when you walk with Him.
He's able to redeem you and restore you. God is able to make all things new if we let Him. So today, make a commitment to go higher, invest time, make the time to sit with the Lord, sit in His presence, go higher. However long that takes for you, 20 minutes, half an hour, an hour and a half, whatever it takes, make it. Because that time that you spend in His presence in prayer and in praise, that time is priceless.
That is what shifts you. That is what renews your mind. It's what makes all things new. It brings in healing and joy. Walls come down and chains begin to break when you trust God, when you lean in, and when you go higher with Him.
Closing Devotional Prayer
My prayer for you: Father, in the name of Jesus, I thank you. I thank you that your mercies renew every morning. I thank you for breaking down every wall. I thank you, God, that every insecurity has to break. I thank you, God, that every stronghold has to come down. For Lord, you are our God, and your mercy endures forever.
I thank you that we're walking with you, O God. Thank you, O God, for catching us and giving us a way of escape. I thank you, Lord, for your divinity. Time out, O God, for operating in fear. You are God alone. Thank you for scattering the hands of the enemy. Thank you, God, for the blessing. Thank you for the grace.
Thank you, God, for keeping us. I thank you that the mighty woman of God now is beginning to receive, that you know, and that you care, and that you are able yet and still to do what you said that you would do. I thank you, Lord, and I pray in Jesus' mighty name, Amen.
