Today’s Devotional Scripture: 28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.
30 Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.
- Romans 8:28-30 KJV

Today, instead of going to God in prayer seeking, and praying, and hoping that things change, let’s turn that around. In the cornerstone scripture here in Romans 8:28-30, we see that all things are working for us. We don’t need to wonder or doubt if it’s happening, it is working.
So, we can just believe that it is finished, that God has heard our prayers, and that now is the time for us to walk with Him, to trust Him completely, to see the fulfillment of the Word of the Lord go forth, because it’s already done. These three scriptures very clearly show us that there’s a purpose and a plan for our lives, and that God knows these plans.
All the things that we endure, all the struggles that we face, the closed doors, the delays, the moments of wonder and doubting whether or not it’s going to happen, all of those things are working together for the good. All of those things are serving a purpose on the journey of your development.
Imagine David sitting there with those sheep in the wilderness, and seeing the lion and seeing the bear, and instead of running away, he ran towards these incredible beasts. These beasts that are known to have victory over man. He ran towards these beasts, he got his sling, he got his stone, he practiced, and he wrestled the sheep back from the hand of the lion, from the paw of the bear.
