Today’s Devotional Scripture: 6 Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the Lord unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the Lord of hosts.
7 Who art thou, O great mountain? before Zerubbabel thou shalt become a plain: and he shall bring forth the headstone thereof with shoutings, crying, Grace, grace unto it. - Zechariah 4:6-7 KJV

Grace is the unmerited favor of God. This has been a known descriptor of what grace is for believers.
This is not a worldly definition. This is certainly biblical. The grace of God brings in an ease that is not there without God's spirit. In this scripture, we see where the angel of the Lord tells Zechariah exactly what the vision means in chapter 4, and he says, This vision means, “Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the Lord of hosts”. The Lord of hosts is translated to the Lord of heaven's armies.
So grace here is the outpouring of God's Spirit to ensure a possibility where before there is difficulty and hardship, where there is resistance, and where there are walls. So grace indeed has levels to it. We see in scripture where God's spirit was poured out unto Moses. When Moses was called to go to Pharaoh and decree: “Let my people go”, Moses demonstrated and he clarified that he did not feel qualified. And the Lord's response to Moses was, Who made man's mouth?
10 And Moses said unto the Lord, O my Lord, I am not eloquent, neither heretofore, nor since thou hast spoken unto thy servant: but I am slow of speech, and of a slow tongue.
11 And the Lord said unto him, Who hath made man's mouth? or who maketh the dumb, or deaf, or the seeing, or the blind? have not I the Lord? - Exodus 4:10-11 KJV
We see further that through that scripture, not only did he endure the plagues and endure repeatedly speaking to Pharaoh, but Moses was graced to open the Red Sea. Moses was graced to bring water from a rock. He was graced to bring hundreds of thousands of Israelites out of slavery into the promised land. There was a grace on Moses.
We see yet another demonstration of grace and the empowerment of God's Spirit when we see that Jeremiah demonstrated nervousness, that he wasn't qualified to speak on the Lord's behalf. And the Lord said, I will put the words in your mouth. I will give you the words to say, do not say that you were young. Do not say that you're unqualified.
6 Then said I, Ah, Lord God! behold, I cannot speak: for I am a child.
7 But the Lord said unto me, Say not, I am a child: for thou shalt go to all that I shall send thee, and whatsoever I command thee thou shalt speak.
8 Be not afraid of their faces: for I am with thee to deliver thee, saith the Lord. - Jeremiah 1:6-8 KJV
So the Lord tells Jeremiah that there is a grace and that the Lord is equipping him. So the dispensation of God's Spirit is clearly a demonstration of what is needed to bring the walls down. In every particular situation and in every circumstance, there is a grace delivered by God. This is why the scripture says from faith to faith and from glory to glory, there are levels to grace.
17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith. - Romans 1:17 KJV
18 But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord. - 2 Corinthians 3:18 KJV
Now in this scripture, in our cornerstone scripture, we see that Zachariah is advised to tell Zerubbabel that the mountain is going to move for you. Then the Lord turns around in this scripture and speaks to the obstacle, “Who are thou, O great mountain, before Zerubbabel thou shalt become a plain. And he shall bring forth the headstone thereof with shouting, crying, grace, grace unto it”. So we see that there is a grace that for in this case, that mountains will move before the power of the Lord.
The situations that you are dealing with and the weight that you've carried, is because you've been graced for it. You've been graced to tear down, to uproot, and to move mountains. You've been graced for the challenges that you have faced and that your family has faced. There was a grace for Daniel in the lion's den. There was a grace for Esther faced with the mass extension of her people. She stood forth for the Hebrew Israelites and said, I am an Israelite. If you're going to kill them, kill me.
So her taking the chance to go forth to the king at the wrong time without being called, thereby risking her life was empowered by three days of fasting. This is in the book of Esther.
16 Go, gather together all the Jews that are present in Shushan, and fast ye for me, and neither eat nor drink three days, night or day: I also and my maidens will fast likewise; and so will I go in unto the king, which is not according to the law: and if I perish, I perish. - Esther 4:16 KJV
There was a grace. How can you better prepare for the grace? How can you better overcome with the grace over your life? Be mindful that the obstacles that you're facing are not a punishment. The obstacles that you're facing are a demonstration of the weight of the Glory of God over your life. It is a demonstration of the empowerment of God's Spirit. It is calling forth the grace that has already been assigned to you for the task at hand.
There is a grace. Pray. Fast. Worship the Lord your God for the grace to be unlocked. You must be in relationship with the Holy Spirit. We see in Acts chapter two where the 120 who were in the upper room didn't see the outpouring of the spirit until they were of one mind. They were praying of one accord. And then the dispensation of the Holy Spirit came forth at Pentecost. And that day 3000 souls were added to the body of Christ.
And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.
And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. - Acts 2:1-2 KJV
41 Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls. - Acts 2:41 KJV
There is a grace. Today as you go forth, looking at the challenges and looking at the obstacles, begin to celebrate, begin to thank God, and begin to worship him. Because if you're facing it, your graced to overcome it. If you facing it, and you're dealing with it, and you're worshiping through it, there is a grace being released and you will come forth with shouting, crying, grace, grace unto it.
Closing Devotional Prayer
Father, in the name of Jesus, thank you so much for the mighty woman of God. Thank you so much for this word this day. I thank you God for the outpouring of your spirit.
I thank you for the abundance of scripture and word that I pray in the name of Jesus brings revelation to the mighty woman of God. I'm praying God that as she reads this devotional, as she is flowing through the scripture, as she begins to meditate on this word, oh God, that you will bring forth good success.
I pray that there will be healing of all affliction, oh God. For the Bible says many are the afflictions of the righteous, but you, oh God, deliver us from them all. So Lord, I thank you, oh God, that the afflictions are breaking. I thank you, God, that the mountains are moving. And I thank you, God, that ways are being made. I thank you, Lord, and I pray in the name of Jesus. Amen.
