God Does Impossible Math
A testimonial & An open door
We’ve all heard of the story of the fish and loaves.
Just in case, here is Matthew 14:14-21 KJV:
14 And Jesus went forth, and saw a great multitude, and was moved with compassion toward them, and he healed their sick.
15 And when it was evening, his disciples came to him, saying, This is a desert place, and the time is now past; send the multitude away, that they may go into the villages, and buy themselves victuals.
16 But Jesus said unto them, They need not depart; give ye them to eat.
17 And they say unto him, We have here but five loaves, and two fishes.
18 He said, Bring them hither to me.
19 And he commanded the multitude to sit down on the grass, and took the five loaves, and the two fishes, and looking up to heaven, he blessed, and brake, and gave the loaves to his disciples, and the disciples to the multitude.
20 And they did all eat, and were filled: and they took up of the fragments that remained twelve baskets full.
21 And they that had eaten were about five thousand men, beside women and children. - Matthew 14:14-21 KJV
This story and the story of Peter walking on water are two well-known cornerstone scriptures for so many of us women of faith. Women who believe. Women who trust God through the ups and downs of life.
Never giving up
And pressing into the promises of God
But I have never heard it told the way I heard it shared by Dallas Jenkins, the creator and executive producer of The Chosen. I’ve shared the video testimonial he shared 6 years ago.
After hearing this testimonial, I immediately scrapped almost everything (that will matter later) I was doing. I knew in my heart that it was truly time to trust God and let go of the old way of supporting women.
We love writing the devotionals, and I thank God every time I get the opportunity to pray for you. It has brought me so much joy these last 2 years.
In the midst of that joy, there has been a quiet expectation that I would be released to go back to my business and start launching women into their purpose-driven businesses again.
The moment I watched this testimonial, I knew it was finished.
I opened up my annual Powerhouse Activation as a Pay What You Want investment and had high hopes, but fewer than 10 women joined. So I scrapped everything but… I held on to sharing my consulting programs.
I messaged a few long-term clients and spoke with several women who were interested, but no one was ready. This highly unusual lack of women who were ready to launch was confusing. But I’m no stranger to faith.
I kept going and pressing. It all seemed like it would work out. Then my long-term client and friend Sandie Grindel said to me:
Livi, you’ve always started small. You’ve had thousands go through your programs, and from there, God has blessed your business.
- Sandie Grindel
I asked her for a prayer. She has known me for 6 years and seen the power of my faith in action more times than I can count. But, I must admit, it didn’t make any sense how this was going to work.
Then God reminded me of Dallas Jenkins saying, “God does impossible math.” I found the testimonial on YouTube and listened again.
So, I wept for the old season, and I let go of what I thought would be the way forward. I was resigned to letting this go and maybe seeking another way. A new system. A new coach. A new offer.
I just let go and remained open.
Two days ago, at 8 pm, I was led to do a one-and-done business training.
No back-end offers. No teasers. Just something that can launch a woman on Substack in 5 days flat.
I created the system (I own a marketing agency).
Took a few shortcuts, but God pressed upon me to treat this like any high-value 4-figure program and seal it with prayer.
Instantly, a woman reached out at 1 in the morning as I was recording the prayer and the devotional. I dropped the link to something that I just finished minutes before. She was shocked at the low amount and instantly grabbed the VIP. $49 dollars.
I was shocked. It happened all of a sudden. Out of the blue. She told me that God has been leading her to Substack for weeks, and she knew, at 1:20 in the morning, that it was time.
A quiet tear slipped down my face. Lol. I can laugh now, but a wave of gratitude flowed over me in that moment. Trying to relaunch my business has stretched my faith beyond anything I’ve walked through in the last 12 years.
I’ve been homeless - and that felt like a cake walk compared to the last 2 weeks of letting my business die a God-ordained death.
God has me here now. So, I’m going all in. If you’ll help. You can
sow any amount or
seed $19 into your business growth
The options are explained below.
Here is the goal: 1,000 Women Launched On Substack
You can sow any amount:
If you love the prayers and testimonials but don’t desire to start your heart-centered business online, then you can sow ANY amount into our Annual Powerhouse Activation. You can sow into it or sow and attend. The full details are here:
For those who have a purpose-driven business or ministry:
You can join our 5-Day Substack training from May 11 to May 15, 2026. The training will be all you need to launch your Substack with growth and profitable impact in mind.
