For Such A Time As This
A Note For Free and Paid Subscribers of Daily Devotional for Women
I have been wondering how God desires to grow the Daily Devotional for Women now that the foundation is laid (2.25 years of building) and our team is growing (Thank you, Michelle - M.H. Elrich's E-Readers and Marshay Marshay Iwu).
I believe God just answered, and I’m following Him by faith:
14 For if thou altogether holdest thy peace at this time, then shall there enlargement and deliverance arise to the Jews from another place; but thou and thy father's house shall be destroyed: and who knoweth whether thou art come to the kingdom for such a time as this? - Esther 14:14 KJV
New Section Featuring Emerging Writers
Substack is changing. Many new writers called to pour out find it hard to be found on the platform. I read an Open Letter to Chris, one of the Substack co-founders, that essentially asked them to go back to the way things were a few years ago.
As a businesswoman who has seen several large platforms come and go over my coaching career, I know that going back isn’t always possible. Substack has over 50 million users now, and it’s growing. Many Women of God are starting substacks that are helping them to pay small bills, and some who have a little more success as well.
But it’s a long road to be seen and get the word out. New writers find it hard to be discovered. After reading the Open Letter, God immediately led me to add a new section to this community.
We have over 46,000 women in the Daily Devotional for Women community.
That’s over 46,000 mighty Women of God who love the Lord and want the word in our lives daily.
Maybe God brought all of this together for such a time as this.

They will be for women, motherhood, wives, ministers, health, wellness etc… As we only write the Daily Devotional from a broad, word-based sense for everyone, these 8 weekly posts will prayerfully serve in specific areas that we do not cover in the Daily Devotional, but that will bless you nevertheless.
We are featuring these writers because it’s hard to stay encouraged when you’re learning a new platform and you know in your heart, you have something valuable to share with fellow image bearers of Christ. Prayerfully, this will highlight Mighty Women of God with powerful messages and encouraging words who would otherwise be overlooked.

For those who are paid subscribers, we’re starting this new weekly Emerging Sound section of the community in partnership with you. Your sowing into this ministry keeps us reaching more people and we’d love to feature writers that you have personally read on the platform who are new but finding it hard to get the word of God out there.

And we (Michelle, Marshay, and I) will review the submissions each week. The ones we all love (you and us) will be featured each week in the free for everyone Emerging Sound Digest each week.
We will rarely, if ever, recommend articles as we desire for this to be reader-led. You know what you need, and all free articles you love can be submitted for review.
In this way, we are going to feature Mighty Women of God who say YES to answering the call and pouring their hearts out with a message from the Lord.
