Today’s Devotional Scripture: 6 Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:
7 Even as it is meet for me to think this of you all, because I have you in my heart; inasmuch as both in my bonds, and in the defence and confirmation of the gospel, ye all are partakers of my grace. - Philippians 1:6-7 KJV

Audio Version Of This Devotional: Fight For The Finish Audio
God is faithful. He will finish what he started in you. He will continue to break walls that have attempted to be erected around you. He will continue to bring revelation as long as you seek him. But the Bible decrees that as you draw nigh to God, he will draw nigh to you.
Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double-minded. - James 4:8 KJV
And that everyone who seeks will find. As it is written in Matthew 7:7-8 KJV:
7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:
8 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. - Matthew 7:7-8 KJV
So you are not alone. God is faithful. It sometimes seems in the middle of the journey that the enemy will swiftly attempt to distract and discourage you from pursuing the things of God. It's the job of the enemy to make you doubt what you hear from God. It's the job of the principalities and dark forces to attempt to undermine the things of God in your life. But, God is faithful.
He's faithful to show you. He's faithful with His promises over your life. He's faithful with revelation. He is faithful. He is not a man that he should lie nor the son of man, that he should change his mind.
19 God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good? - Numbers 23:19 KJV
If God said it, that makes it so. There's so much increase that comes with increased faith. There's so much that changes when you become unshakable in your belief. Every time you decide to trust God again, it's another step in victory. It's another small battle won when you overcome overthinking and when you set aside confusion and an unsound mind.
When you hold fast to the confession of your faith, everything begins to change. Hebrews 10:23-25 states:
23 Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)
24 And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:
25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching. - Hebrews 10:23-25 KJV
It's because you trust Him that you will see what he is speaking. God is faithful to finish. But if you decide to stop and if you decide to walk away, it is not up to God to fix your lack of faith. It's up to you to strengthen your faith through consistency, through praise, through the outpouring of God's spirit. It's up to you to tap in and ask yourself every morning, “Who is like the Lord? Mighty in battle.”
5 Who is like unto the Lord our God, who dwelleth on high,
6 Who humbleth himself to behold the things that are in heaven, and in the earth! - Psalm 113:5-6 KJV
It's up to you to remind yourself that there is nothing too hard for the Lord.
4 Is any thing too hard for the Lord? At the time appointed I will return unto thee, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son. - Genesis 18:14 KJV
It's up to you to commit to the finish because God is going to do his part. But will you do yours? Will you trust in the Lord with all of your heart and lean not to your own understanding?
5 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. - Proverbs 3:5-6 KJV
It's up to you. Yes, there is a scripture that states we should not say what we’re going to do but instead say If the Lord wills it, we will stay here:
13 Go to now, ye that say, To day or to morrow we will go into such a city, and continue there a year, and buy and sell, and get gain:
14 Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.
15 For that ye ought to say, If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that. - James 4:13-15 KJV
However, if the Lord has shared his will, then it's up to you to believe it. The massive amount of scripture in the devotional today is intentional. Every single scripture mentioned, quoted, and dropped in this devotional is a testimony to faith. It is a shoring up of your faith. It is a reminder that we who are justified by God, we live by faith, not by sight.
7 (For we walk by faith, not by sight:) - 2 Corinthians 5:7 KJV
The decision to put in the full scriptures is intentional so that you would have the words to speak over your life. It's so that you would have the weapons of our warfare which are not carnal but mighty through God. Our God is holy. He is mighty to save and mighty to deliver. But sometimes you need reminders. You are human and as human beings, we don't always understand what He's doing for his thoughts are not our thoughts and his ways are not our ways.
8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord.
9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. - Isaiah 55:8-9 KJV
No, we don't always comprehend why he does what he does and why he gives us the assignments that he gives us, but he is still God and he is faithful to finish what he started. Will you believe him? Will you come into agreement? Will you speak life over yourself today? Will you decree a thing and know that it shall be established unto you?
28 Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways. - Job 22:28 KJV
Remember that the power of life and death are in the tongue and those that love it will eat the fruit thereof.
21 Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof. - Proverbs 18:21 KJV
Remember the Lord your God. Remember that He is mighty to the save and mighty to deliver. Remember that there is nothing that the Lord cannot do. Remember that with men, this is impossible, but with God, all things are possible.
26 But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible. - Matthew 19:26 KJV
Let this devotional be a reminder of your faith. Make note of every scripture. Put them around your home. Stick them to your refrigerator for the Lord is faithful. His word does not fail and his promises are yes and amen. The words God has spoken over your life and sent out as messengers cannot return void.
11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. - Isaiah 55:11 KJV
There are mantles being released and there are assignments being released.
Don't give up now and don't you quit. God is right there with you to empower you, to equip you, to handle it to walk through. Don't give up.
Closing Devotional Prayer
My prayer for you: Father, in the name of Jesus, I thank you. I thank you, God, for the word of the Lord going forth over her life. God, as she reads through this devotional, I pray that she would make note of every scripture. I pray, God, that she would take this word and realize that this is her weapon, oh God.
I pray, God, that whatever you're guiding her to do with this devotional, that she do it quickly. I thank you, Lord God, for being a promise keeper. I thank you that ways are being made and that we are not relegated to a 7 a.m., 8 a.m. deadline on this devotional. God, I do what it is you've called me to do. I say what it is you've called me to say, and I will walk this thing out fully according to your will and your way.
I thank you for the mighty woman of God that is listening right now. I pray, God, that my faith can help her. I pray for the release of faith over her, oh God. I pray that my gift of faith becomes a weapon that she can tap into, even for a moment. That the scriptures that I've read here and that are dropped in this devotional be a weapon unto her.
Lord, let it be a sword and a shield unto her. I thank you, Holy Ghost, for your promises and for being a promise keeper. Thank you, God, for bringing to her awareness a greater level of faith and the weapons in order to fight this war and for her to fight to the finish. I thank you, Lord, and I pray in Jesus' mighty name. Amen.
