Today’s Devotional Scripture: 11 I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all. - Ecclesiastes 9:11 KJV

Time and chance. Opportunity is not a matter of being lucky. It’s a matter of understanding that the Lord is always with you through every season, through every up and down, through every loss and disappointment. God is always with you. This scripture powerfully demonstrates what happens when you are persistent and when you become so drilled in and so persuaded of what the Lord has shown you,
that you pursue it with diligence,
you pursue it without fear,
and you pursue it without being moved by what you see.
The fight in this hour is not about fighting with your earthly hands or your strength. The fight in this season is about your ability to trust in the Lord with all your might and to know that He is God and that He is able. The fight is not to be dissuaded by the visibility of the visual obstacles and the high things standing before the Lord.
When you are of such a mind that your faith is not predicated on what you can visibly see, but it is predicated on just a word from God, no matter what happens, you’re going to always believe what the Lord said. Your faith becomes so supernatural that people can tell you to stop building the boat because it doesn’t make sense, but you’d have the undeniable innate faith that rain is coming, so you’d keep building it even though:
not a drop of water comes from the sky,
there’s not one indication,
there’s no clouds,
there’s no evidence of what you believe,
but, something in you refuses to let go of that belief.
This is the solidness of walking with God by faith. This is the fight that you are in at this hour. It is not the fight for people nor the fight against the enemy. That battle is not yours; this battle belongs to the Lord. Your fight is in being still and not being moved.
It is being steadfast in a way that many are not comfortable with. It is being immovable in a way that frustrates the enemy because nothing can stop you from believing what the Lord has shown you, what he has put and purposed in your heart to see in the earth.
Nothing can stop it.
That kind of faith becomes a weapon that God can use to expand His Kingdom and to influence a nation. That kind of faith causes you, enables you, and empowers you to go do things that don’t make sense so that you can get results that are unplanned and become the evidence that God is real. When you lean on your own understanding, when you lean on what you know about yourself, and when you lean on the things of this world, it becomes nearly impossible to walk by faith.
