Evening Prayer Focus: Rest and Reset
Thank the Lord that you’ve made it through this day. Praise God for the weighted glory that walks with you through the day, for He will never leave you nor forsake you. He is a good, good Father. I pray that rest would come upon you and that every weight would come down.
As you lay down the to-do list, I pray for the Lord to show you how to navigate the evening hours and prepare to receive in your heart all that He has for you. he knows all that you need. I pray for a deep, deep peace to come upon you and for deep restorative rest to be your portion in the name of Jesus.
May ease and grace cover you so that burnout and exhaustion are not your portion. I pray you lay down everything that God did not give you to carry. May the divine peace of the Lord be your companion this evening. Hold your peace and let God fight the battle in the name of Jesus. In Jesus’ mighty name, I pray. Amen.
