Today’s Devotional Scripture: 20 And Elisha died, and they buried him. And the bands of the Moabites invaded the land at the coming in of the year.

21 And it came to pass, as they were burying a man, that, behold, they spied a band of men; and they cast the man into the sepulchre of Elisha: and when the man was let down, and touched the bones of Elisha, he revived, and stood up on his feet. - 2 Kings 13:20-21 KJV

8 And when I beheld, lo, the sinews and the flesh came up upon them, and the skin covered them above: but there was no breath in them.

9 Then said he unto me, Prophesy unto the wind, prophesy, son of man, and say to the wind, Thus saith the Lord God; Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live.

10 So I prophesied as he commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived, and stood up upon their feet, an exceeding great army.
- Ezekiel 37:8-10 KJV

***Audio Version For Paid members: Dry Bones Revived Audio 481

Death has no sting.

When you are walking with the Lord, what stings as if it is dead, gone, and never returning, if it be the will of the Father, will shift. If it be the will of our God, He can revive anything.

We see in these scriptures where Elisha, the prophet, once he passed, still carried such power in him that when a man who was being buried was thrown into the sepulcher of Elisha, that he touched the bones, and when his body touched the bones, he was revived and stood up upon his feet. For even the bones of Elisha weren’t dead.

They carried life. They carried the power of God in them. We see this, and we see this miracle and wonder, Lord, what was so in the prophet? What was so full in the prophet that there was a weighty glory that infused the bones of Elisha? And this scripture, once shared, gives no more details. That is the end of that unexpected miracle, that unexpected turnaround.

When you believe that it’s done, and those around you believe that it’s done, God has an incredible tendency to prove everyone wrong. He has a tendency of taking what looks impossible and turning it around in a way where the power of the living God covers it, where the fire of God covers it. There is a peace that comes forth when you know that God is with you and you are with God.

That, as you walk with him, the resurrection power of Jesus is at work over you. That it is at work in your finances. It is at work in your marriage. It is at work in your relationships. It is at work in your very life. There is nothing too hard for the Lord, and death has no sting. The power of life and death was gained by the Lord. In the death, the burial, and the resurrection of Jesus Christ, we are able to now take part in everlasting life.

Speak to the Dry Bones

We are now given the ability to speak and decree that same life over ourselves, over our family, over our finances, over our hearts, over our minds, over our bodies. We have the power to speak. We see in Proverbs 18:21 in the King James Version, it states:

21 Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof. - Proverbs 18:21 KJV

They that love it, they that embrace it, and they that speak will eat the fruit of the thing that they’re pronouncing. You will eat the fruit of what you believe, and the fruit of what you speak. And whatever you decide to decree, whatever you decide to believe, whatever you decide to utter over you, over your children, over your finances, over your marriage, and over your family, you’re going to eat that fruit.

There is life in your vocal cords. There is life in our hearts. There is life. So, regardless of what the situation looks like, we have the ability to speak a thing and know that our God is with us, to decree a thing and know that it will be established according to Job 22:28 in the King James Version.
