Thank you Nancy for your testimony. I loved the part where you said you can either give a respectful response or a disrespectful reaction. If we just take a moment we can think objectively and not emotionally we will have a better outcome. Reminds me of the scripture to be quick to listen slow to speak and slow to get angry.

Thank you Nancy, for sharing a solid foundation for communication within the marriage. The enemy loves to divide marriage and families, but God loves to heal them and create testimonies like yours. Respectful conversation, (particularly when we are upset) is hard. You've shown that it's not only possible, but is the strong third leg of the stool. I'm reminded to listen more than I speak, and to take 'Good time outs" - Communicate clearly the time I/we need to calm down and let each other know we will continue after we've discharged the anger.
