Today’s Devotional Scripture: God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
2 Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;
3 Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah. - Psalm 46:1 - 3 KJV

God is a very present help in the times of trouble. In this cornerstone scripture this morning, we see where the Word of the Lord describes a God that is there despite the shaking of the earth, the falling away of mountains, and the troubled waters. He is still God.
There is a very clear indication that despite calamity, God is still in the midst. He is God. While you're facing the issues of life, remember this morning that regardless of the weight that you may be carrying, God is still God alone. That yesterday, last week, an hour ago is gone. These are not things that God can change. He can't change what happened an hour ago. You can't alter what's in the past. What you can do in this very moment is take authority over your heart and mind, take authority over your feelings and emotions, and keep yourself rooted in the power of God in every moment.
He's able to change every situation immediately. He's able to move every wall suddenly. He is God alone. When you're facing the issues of life, when you're considering what to do next, when you realize that you cannot change what happened in the past, and that the future has not yet come, you begin to walk in the power of now. This power, as described in this scripture, is you coming into agreement with God.
This is you coming into alignment with the word of the Lord.
This is you overcoming every barrier and every wall.
This is you being strong and courageous in every moment.
Do not be overwhelmed with every situation. When life comes at you fast, remember that God is able to do it, that there is nothing that he cannot handle, and that there's nothing too hard for the Lord.
14 Is any thing too hard for the Lord? At the time appointed I will return unto thee, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son. - Genesis 18:14 KJV
Remember that this moment is the one that matters. This is the one that you can operate in. This is the one where you can change situations with the Lord's help. Come into agreement. Come into alignment. Come into the knowledge of God. Know in your heart that God is able to do what he said he would do. Every mountain is going to fall away. Every obstacle is temporary. God is able to overcome them, not by might nor by power, but by God's spirit.
Scripture after scripture reminds us that he is God. Message after message is sent forth in the earth, that He's able to do it, that there's nothing too hard, that the impossible is made possible when we come into agreement with the word of the Lord. So yes, this moment is the only one that matters. What's done is done. Release the weights of yesterday and be mindful of this very moment. He who began a good work in you will be faithful to complete it until the coming of Christ.
6 Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ: - Philippians 1:6 KJV
Release the fear. Release the doubt about tomorrow that has not yet come. Tomorrow is still being made, cultivated, and created based off which way you turn in this moment. Tomorrow can be a very different outcome. Trust in the Lord your God. Acknowledge him in all of your ways and he shall direct your path right now.
Closing Devotional Prayer
My prayer for you: Father, in the name of Jesus, thank you. Thank you for the outpouring of your spirit, God. Thank you, oh God, that you are our help. You are our strength. Lord, there's nobody like you. You know, oh God, the weight and the glory. You know, God, what you demand of us. You know, God, what we're facing.
This mighty woman of God is ready to tackle her day. I'm praying in the name of Jesus that she will come into agreement with your word. That as you knock on the door, as it says in Revelation chapter 3:20, that she's going to open the door and she is going to sup with you. That she's going to fellowship with you. That when you knock on that door that she's going to open it and let you in now.
This is the moment that matters. Now. This is the moment where things can change. Now. This is the moment, oh God, where it says in this word that you are present and you are helping. So, Lord, I thank you that we're taking you at your word. I thank you for the grace and for the glory. Lord, you are God alone. I thank you, Lord, and I pray in Jesus' mighty name. Amen, amen, and amen.
