Today’s Devotional Scripture: 4 And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter: so he made it again another vessel, as seemed good to the potter to make it.
5 Then the word of the Lord came to me, saying,
6 O house of Israel, cannot I do with you as this potter? saith the Lord. Behold, as the clay is in the potter's hand, so are ye in mine hand, O house of Israel.
Jeremiah 18:4-6 KJV

Audio Version Of This Devotional: Broken For Better Audio
It is impossible to see a tree that hasn't been formed with a root. To see good fruit and to have evidence requires ownership and authority over land. To put seed in the ground is to exercise this authority and to see that seed open up and spring forth into fruit, into a tree.
The sovereign Lord is at work in this season, opening up the mighty women of God that are called to His glory, that are called to decree a thing and know that it shall be established, and to call forth peace and prayer like never before. Our assignment as mighty women of God is to be available to His will, are to shift with Him, to flow with Him. When it doesn't feel good, when it feels like the pressure of it is coming against us, this is when we lean into God, not away.
This is when we draw nigh to the Lord, we don't draw away. To be in His presence is to be open, to be vulnerable. This openness and this vulnerability is what is required in order for you to see the fullness of the relationship with God manifest in your life. So when it's uncomfortable, when it feels like you're stuck and you don't really see a way out, begin to pray and ask God, are you a seed? Is He breaking you open that there may be good fruit that will come from you being planted in this season?
That is not going to feel good. It's not going to look like you know how to have it all together or that you know exactly where you're going. None of that will make sense to anyone, sometimes not even you. To walk with the Lord and to see the fullness of the vision, to see ways being made, and to see the outpouring of God's Spirit in your life requires that you be willing to break.
Not to break in pieces, but to break in terms of spiritual growth. To break open in terms of seeing the outpouring of what is in you in the earth. Broken for Better is today's message because God wants to bless you with more. He wants to use you to expand His kingdom. This is the time and this is the season to trust in the Lord. Trust that He has your best interest in mind. Trust God knowing who you are. It's time to trust Him again. It's time to let go and to stop attempting to control the birthing process or the rebirthing process.
Wherever you are in your journey right now, whether you're birthing and you're coming into something new, or whether it's the ladder rain, which has restored many in their latter years, the latter part of life, to step back onto the scene in a mighty way with grace and glory at their beck and call. Because they're taking action, because they're moving. In this case, what may feel like stagnancy or lack of movement may be a seed opening up.
It may be you opening up and giving God all of you and letting Him in, letting Him speak to you so that there could be a radical transformation in how you see yourself and how you present to the world and how you carry yourself. Remember that elevation requires a new you. So this transformation is not something that can always happen before people because many will attempt to destroy it before it's time.
This is the season to go forth. This is the time to not grow weary. Do what is good. Put your heart at ease. God has the final say. His love never fails us and He never gives up. He is the God that does not leave us nor forsake us. So this is the hour to trust Him, to walk with Him, and to know that the breaking may be essential for the birthing that you're walking through right now. If you've been dealing with situations in the past years that have brought you to the brink of sadness, loss, grief, and depression, thank God that you are still here.
In this case, now is the time. Now you can begin to see it. The outpouring of God's Spirit. If you just let Him do the work. Be open to being uncomfortable. Be open to being seen springing forth into a new season.
Closing Devotional Prayer
My prayer for you: Father, in the name of Jesus, I thank you. I thank you for the mighty woman of God. I thank you for covering her, God, from the beginning to the end. I thank you for the grace and the glory. You are Alpha and Omega, O God.
You know what it is that you desire of the mighty woman of God. You know how you desire for her to move, to walk, to build. Lord, I thank you for the outpouring. I thank you for the encore. I thank you for grace and for glory. Lord, you are good. Your mercy endures forever.
So Lord, I thank you, God, for the mighty woman of God. I thank you for the grace and the glory. I thank you for the supernatural power of God going forth. Not because she forced it, but because she received it. Not because she's trying to do it on her own, but because she knows that you are her Father and that she can trust you.
Lord, I thank you right now for this mighty woman of God, for her that is reading this devotional or hearing it. I'm praying that God's grace will continue to break forth and that the light of the Lord will shine on every endeavor. Lord, I'm praying for sudden turnarounds and increase over the mighty woman of God, over her finances, over her business ideas, that there be a springing up that happens now.
I pray that she begins to see things move and that she begins to see the success now. I thank you, Lord, and I pray in Jesus' mighty name, Amen.
