Today’s Devotional Scripture: 4 And the glory of the Lord came into the house by the way of the gate whose prospect is toward the east.
5 So the spirit took me up, and brought me into the inner court; and, behold, the glory of the Lord filled the house.
6 And I heard him speaking unto me out of the house; and the man stood by me.

When we bless God, when we honor Him, and when we walk with Him completely, our lives begin to look a little different. It won’t happen overnight; it rarely does. But day after day, month after month, and year after year, as you begin to lean into His presence, as you begin to pray, and as you begin to establish a baseline for your faith, God begins to cover you, bless you, and transform your life.
There’s always evidence that God has been around. There’s always evidence. When you have blessed the Lord and lifted Him up above all of the noise, your home begins to reflect it. Your life begins to reflect it. Your children’s children begin to reflect it. The glory of God flows through you, through your obedience, through your submissions, through your faith to the King of glory, that He’s able to make a way out of no way.
This is the cornerstone of our faith, that because we trust Him, we can begin to walk in something new, in the gifts, in the miracles, in the signs, and in the wonders. In this cornerstone scripture, we see that the prophet Ezekiel is witnessing the return of God’s glory into the temple in this vision. And as the temple is being filled with His glory, the Lord is showing the prophet Ezekiel the restoration of Israel.
After all fades away, after all of Israel and what they’ve dealt with, idol worship, and just all that they suffered, the Lord shows the prophet that there will be a return of God’s glory filling the house. Specificall,y in scripture, it says:
4 And the glory of the Lord came into the house by the way of the gate whose prospect is toward the east. - Ezekiel 43:4
That scripture already tells us that the glory is returning and that that gate is open. So that gate being open, that door being opened, and the fact that the Lord is sending His glory is evident in that scripture.
