Audio Version Of This Devotional: Another Level Audio
It's time to go up and going up requires that everything old be released. Every weight that keeps you grounded and in a lower level of thinking must be released. But many times not knowing what that is and not knowing how that works prevents us from understanding how to grow in our walks with God.
How do we grow in our thinking, our vision, in our sight?
The best way to do that is to see the fullness of God in the land of the living through his prayer time, through fasting, and through seeking his face, journaling, and walking with God through every issue of life. When we do that, we begin to see things turn. We see walls fall, and we see doors open for what God has called us to do.
Remembering not the former things means letting go of those things completely and understanding that right now you are indeed in a new season and that it's time to grow to a new level. Nobody can tell you that this is something that comes from the relationship with God and an internal knowing that it's time to let go. No matter what we believe that we have accomplished, it is okay to let go and become new.
It is okay for you to trust God at a deeper level. It's okay for you to let go of every old thought process and become a student of this moment, a student of the Holy Spirit, and a student committed to graduating to another level. This scripture gives a beautiful demonstration of what it means to walk with God in
reaching forth,
forgetting those things which are behind,
pressing toward the mark.
All of these statements denote action and activity. This is how we move with God through action and activity. We do not wait. We do not delay. We walk with God. In every circumstance where there is felt like stagnancy in your life, often that is because there has been no movement with God.
There's been no intentional desire to shift what has happened that is backed not just by a want or a need, but by your feet, by your uncompromising desire to grow, and your uncompromising need to see the will of the Father in every part of your life. That is what it takes to relentlessly press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling as it is noted here in Philippians.
God desires to bless you and grow you, that you may increase and that he may use your life as a demonstration, that your life can bless others, and that the testimonies of victory can go forth as evidence that he is still God. So that the kingdom can be expanded. All of these things are attributed to you growing to another level. It is important that you not allow the enemy to minimize the importance of your growth, your elevation, and your wins.
It is in the elevation and it is in those wins that the Lord will have his glory. He will have his victory as you grow and become more with Christ Jesus as your guide. And as he opens doors for you and makes ways that no man can close and closes doors that no man can open, you begin to see the grace and the glory of God revealed. That is the season that we're in right now.
That is the moment that we can look forward to as you lift up your head, as you lift up your hands, O ye gates to the Lord, remember that he is able to do it. There is no such thing as impossible.
Closing Devotional Prayer
My prayer for you: Father, in the name of Jesus, I thank you. I thank you that the mighty woman of God is ready. I thank you for an outpouring of your spirit this morning. As your spirit is poured out, the grace and glory of God can go forth to undermine every weapon of the enemy, to break the bow of the enemy, to break the weapons so that the woman of God can begin to see all things being made new.
Lord, lift up the mighty woman of God and encourage and empower her to walk with you fully submitted and ready to be all that you have called her to be. I thank you, Lord. I thank you, God, for just changing the environment. I thank you that the heavens are open. I thank you, O God, that there is a grace in the glory being revealed, that there is nothing missing and nothing broken.
Time out for the woman of God feeling that she is doing it on her own. I pray in the name of Jesus for the Holy Spirit to come alongside as a reminder that she is not alone, that as she presses towards the mark of the prize of the high calling in every part of her life, that you are with her. You are there to guide her, God. You are there as the teacher. You're there as the comforter. You are her God.
She is being covered, O God. She is the daughter and you are the father, God. I thank you right now for the grace and the glory. I thank you that all identity issues are going to come down, that the mighty women of God are going to begin to see all that you have promised God begin to transpire. I thank you, God, that every wall is coming down in the name of Jesus, for you are God alone.
I thank you for increase, O God, and for this relevant message today to release those things which are behind, to know that this is now a new season, that we can let go and we can trust you, that we don't need to have it all together. Lord, I thank you, O God, that by your stripes we are healed. I thank you for the favor, O God, over those who are present, who are lacking, who are in fear.
I thank you, O God, that they come in the name of Jesus right unto you and that they put down their heavy burdens now in the name of Jesus, for you are God alone. I pray that they put those things on the altar and that they give you everything, God, that literally pertains to them, that worries them, that frustrates them. I thank you for her complete commitment.
I thank you that she is ready. I thank you, O God, for this encore season, and I thank you that we're going to see in all things a new moment. We're going to see a moment in time when things begin to shift and things begin to align. So Lord, I thank you, and I give you glory. In Jesus' mighty name, Amen.
