Today’s Devotional Scripture: 38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. - Romans 8:38-39 KJV

Audio Version Of This Devotional: A MadeUp Mind Audio
God has given us a sound mind. A sound mind conveys a singleness of purpose and vision. A sound mind is the difference between someone who is wishy-washy and someone who goes forth to accomplish exactly what they set out to accomplish with God by their side.
For we know with man it may be impossible but with God all things are possible according to Matthew 19:26 in the King James Version.
26 The servant therefore fell down, and worshipped him, saying, Lord, have patience with me, and I will pay thee all.
So if we know all things are possible and we know that God is a very present help in a time of trouble, how can we apply this to our everyday lives? In short, it's a decision. Growth is a decision. Keeping your mind stayed on Jesus despite the chaos is a decision. Walking with God despite not knowing where it all ends is a decision. Everything that impacts your life and your dreams becoming real starts with you.
It starts with a made-up mind. It starts with a mind that is not distracted by the hand of the enemy. You're not distracted by the murmurings of other men. A mind that is not distracted even by your own fears. That is what is required in order to see the manifestation when the weighty issues of life come in and threaten to undermine your faith and discourage you. This is when the weight of God is needed.
This is when a made-up mind is best in use. A made-up mind in times of sadness, overwhelm, frustration, and lack of progress will turn around a situation with a simple snap of a finger. Not that things will magically fix themselves. No. However, when walking with God and making an instant decision that despite the sadness, the overwhelm, the frustration, and lack of progress, you will bless God anyhow, you will believe his word anyhow, and you will follow him no matter what.
This is what sets a made-up mind apart from those who often complain about their life, are frustrated with their progress, and feel so stuck in situations they can't seem to get themselves out of. A lot of times you're not meant to get yourself out of anything. You're meant to simply believe that God can do what he said he would do. To believe that the Lord can sever you from every bit of strife, lack, disorder, and dis-ease. He can deliver you.
The Bible says that many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers them from them all.
19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all. - Psalm 34:19 KJV
Not some, not just the financial ones, not just the healing in your body. All afflictions. He delivers you from them all. Bearing that in mind, and knowing that the enemy desires to sift you as wheat, having a made-up mind is essential. It is not an option, it is a requirement. It is the difference between you never seeing the other side of this thing, and you walking fully in the promise of God on the other side of it.
It is a choice, it is a matter of faith, and it is a matter of not giving up.
To hold fast to the confessions of your faith, for he who promised is faithful, according to Hebrews chapter 10 :23. The Lord is able. He's able to do what he said he would do. He's able to shift you, transform you, and change your life. This is your season and now is your time.
Closing Devotional Prayer
My prayer for you: Father, in the name of Jesus, I thank you. I thank you for the goodness. I thank you for the grace. I thank you for the glory. I thank you that you are Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. Lord, Lord, your mercies are new every morning.
I thank you for covering this mighty woman of God, as she comes to the end of this devotional, as she's listening and or reading the devotional. I just bless you, God, for her. I thank you for her life, O God. I thank you that she's awake today, that she is alive, that breath flows in and out of her lungs. Lord, the favor of God is upon this mighty woman of God, to see the side of what you said she would see. She's going to see the other side.
She's going to see the grace and the glory. Lord, you're the Alpha and Omega. You've already set these things in motion. You know the plans that you have, and that you think towards her, to give her a future and a hope. Lord, Lord, I thank you. Lord, I give you glory. Lord, I bless your holy name, for you alone are worthy of our praise.
You alone are the sovereign God. There is nobody like you, God. No, not one. There's no one besides you, God. No, not one. I thank you, Lord, and I pray in Jesus' mighty name. Amen.
